This source was a treasure to find. Flipping from college website to college website in attempt to figure out all their individual requirements was a nightmare. Frustrated, I searched "college requirements" and found this gem of a website! Prep Matters is very simply a list of colleges and their testing and deadline requirements. It is organized in alphabetical order and lists the college or universities SAT scale, optional test and super scoring policies, ACT requirements, subject test requirements, whether or not the college is on Common App, and all early action/decision and regular admission deadlines. I think my favorite part of this website, however, is the ability to 'click' the college you are interested in, and it takes you directly to the college's homepage. The only downfall of this source is it does not have all colleges!

How is this one better than Collegeboard?

The college board website has been very helpful throughout my exploration. The website lets you search colleges, and shows you only the important nuggets of information, without the hassle of combing though the colleges website.

This site has very well organized descriptions of the job of a teacher. It has information on many subjects such as requirements, salary, description, responsibilities and ways to be promoted. The website is a great one because you can search basically any career and there is a in detail description of the job.

Here is a small blurb about the ASVAB test, a required test that all people who enlist have to take.

This site allows you to look at reviews of colleges written by alumnis or attending students. This gives you a different perspective of that college. It also allows you to know things that college tours simply don't tell you. They also have scholarship opportunities that you can apply for. On top of that, you can see rankings of schools and research further into each school you are interested in. I have found this website very helpful in my college search, and I have even applied to a few scholarships on this site.

College Prowler is a site that rates colleges and universities so that people who are going through the college process can navigate towards a better school. If you can't decide between two schools and you don't have the time to visit again, you can use this site to help make your decision!

College Prowler is the website to use! Its a quick, easy, and free sign up process to gain access to all the website has to offer. Once you have an account, you can search any college you want and it will bring you to an information page. The college pages consist of student reviews, which in my opinion, are the most reliable source! You can look through individual tabs such as summary, about the school, about the students, about the campus and about the location. Under each of these tabs are an abundance of information and reviews that help you fully understand the college. The best tool on College Prowler is the Applicant Status. With this tool you can plug in your GPA and SAT/ACT scores, and it will place you among statistics showing people admitted, denied, wait listed, and attending. It is a great way to see where you stand in terms of college admittance!

Many people have heard about and used the College Board website to help with college prep. However, I thought I would share this one tidbit of a tool that is within College Board called "Compare Colleges." This is a tool that you plug in any three colleges and it will line their information up next to each other. This information includes; name, location, type (private/public), campus life (how many students, rural/suburban/city, size), admissions (selectivity, requirements, score ranges), and cost and aid. This was a great way to see the colleges I was interested in without having to pull the information from their separate websites.

This site is useful because it gives info about the laws in Burlington for longboarding and what the requirements are to longboard in Burlington. It also gives info on how you should be wearing a helmet or protective gear during an extreme sport depending on the sport.

This is a good reminder to wear your pads and helmets while lonboarding and while longboarding always pay attention to what your doing!

The University of Vermont's Athletic Training webpage was very useful to me. They talked about steps to getting their (requirements, courses, etc.) and they also proved why their program is a very good choice, with statistics and personal experience. I recommend this to anyone interested in Athletic Training.

I used this site to find scholarships to apply for. They have a huge PDF file full of potential scholarships to apply for. I found 11 scholarships that I am going to apply for. It also gives you a list of deadlines for the scholarships as well as requirements. The site also helped my family and I understand the financial aid and FAFSA process a little better.

This website was a helpful resource for figuring out some of the requirments it takes to become an athletic trainer. Such as classes/courses to take, as well as what athletic trainers actually do for the athletes they are working with. I recomend this website for anyone looking into this career

This website is great if you want to find a good book to read. The site lets you select the genres that you like so that you can browse popular books that fall under those genres. Also, if you don't know what books to read, then you can look for books based off of a book that you have read and liked in the past. I used this website during the second semester in my composition class because one of the requirements for this class was that you always had to have an independent reading book. So, I would frequently browse this website if I was stuck and need recommendations.

I would definitely recommend this site to anyone who wants to learn about deer farming. This site helped me learn a lot about deer farming and the general information you need to know to deer farm. This information made me realize that I want to learn a lot more about deer farming and possibly consider it as future a career.
