It compares the obesity percentage of today's children with those of twenty years ago. It also gives a brief summary of how to deal with children who have obesity, and even includes a meal plan. How this influenced my thinking: This site influenced my thinking in the fact that I always thought that putting an obese child on a diet was the best solution, but this site mentions that one must not completely change their diets because they do need foods from different groups because they need it to grow. Credibility: This website seems credible since its from the government.

The stud found that over weight children were put at more risk for more health complications therefore more likely to die before the age of 55. How it influenced my thinking: This article made me more aware of the risk factors that children face when over weight. Credibility: Very. The authors provide citations for the research study as well as other resources.
