How this influenced my thinking: I always knew children who are overweight are more likely to be made fun of, but i was surprised at how obesity has doubled in children over the past 20 years. How this influenced my thinking: I found it very interesting that Bowlby thought that there is a link between separations with the mom at an early age and maladjustments later on. Why Relevant and Summary: In this article she clearly explains the topic of nature vs. nurture and goes into how it is still undetermined if our genes play a role in our personality. How it influenced my thinking: It made me wonder if my personality trait that are similar to my parents came from them genetically or if it is similar because that is what i grew up around. How this influenced my thinking: I have always been intrigued about what makes people who they are and why some have such a strong personality or sense of who they are while others seem lost as to who they are. This article made me think that mabe the amount of dramatic experiences one faces creates their personality or who they want to be. Credibility of source: I think this came from a book, seems credible most of the info was very similar to wikipedia.
