How it influenced my thinking: It made me wonder if my personality trait that are similar to my parents came from them genetically or if it is similar because that is what i grew up around. Credibility of source: This article seems somewhat credible, though i didn't see any references.

The Nature Theory takes states that more traits such as intelligence, personality, aggression, and sexual orientation are also encoded in an individual's DNA. Supporters of the nurture theory believe they ultimately don't matter - that our behavioral aspects originate only from the environmental factors of our upbringing. How This influenced my thinking: It is interesting to see that some things are really out of our control. Credibility of source: It seems credible, it has been recently updated and it is very informative.
