What are considered unimportant words, such as "the" and "and," are removed from the displayed work of art. I chose this site because it is really simple to use and free. The visuals give meaning to the words you are speaking by various colors that can be used and even sizes. I have used this before as a warm-up activity for my AP students so I think it is great.

This site will allow me to make a word cloud, something that all the participants are familiar with becasue they use them with their students already. The font , sizes, and backgrounds can be changed to match the presrntaion theme. * I looked at another word clud generation site and this one offered offered more font and color styles and was easier to use. This site would also allow you to use a website URL to create a Word Clound where the other only allowed text.

    Wordle is a site for generating word clouds. It can be used to introduce a topic, brainstorm ideas, or check for understanding. I have used the site before, and it allows students to become more involved in their work. I have also used Wordle to build synergy in groups. Some students, in the past, have created their own word clouds by using their inventive, artistic talents without the use of the software.

    With Wordle, a person can paste in the text they want to create a word cloud from and click "Go" to create it. The user has control over the fonts, colors, and shapes the word cloud takes. Wordle could be used to create a word cloud to peak participant interest in the topic of the workshop. For instance, I might choose to create a word cloud using text that describes what Web 2.0 is. Sharing that word cloud before my workshop would give my workshop participants a preview of what they will be learning about.  This site is easy to use and has received numerous positive reviews.

    This site provides the tools for you to build up an argument or description of an event, person or historical period by placing items in a virtual box. You can display anything from a text file to a movie. You can also view and comment on the museum boxes submitted by others. MuseumBox is a cross curricular tool useful in areas of the curriculum where students have to assess, investigate or debate issues and explore and develop ideas. In addition it provides an excellent opportunity for integrating ICT into the curriculum. Not only is this site really original in its concept and organization, but it allows teachers to approve, reject, and edit student projects. If a box is approved, it will go live on the DiscoveryBox website within your school or organization's area. The author of the box will be also able to reload the box in the box creator. You may send a message to the user who created it if you choose this option. If a box is rejected, it will be returned to the author with any message. The author will be able to load the box and make changes, or do any further work on it. You can edit the box and make changes to the text and the audio attachments if necessary.

    Xtranormal is a website that allows individuals to make a movie just by texting. Xtranormal will be a used to present the objectives of the presentation. The animation will allow the learners to view a visual with audio/text (present two types of learning).

    Assignment, Module 3 - Xtranormal.com is a web-based presentation tool that allows the user to create a movie from text.  The site claims that, "if you can type, you can make movies."  Users are provided with 3D characters that are brought to life through adding content to their voices.  It uses a drag-and-drop animation system of editing.  Another advantage is you can follow this site from FaceBook or on Twitter.  One disadvantage is the recommended configuration is limited to Windows XP Service Pack 2 or Windows Vista.

    Xtranormal was one of the featured websites in the programs for Module 3. It is a very easy to use website to create videos. I used it to create the directions for the pre-training activity. In order to create a video you simply type in your script, select your character, background, camera angles, and character movements. This text to speech website is an example of generative learning because it simplifies the expectations for the participants.

This can be used as an introduction tool of a segment presentation. It provides a visual animation with sound and text possibilities. My students loved it and could make their presentations unique and creative.

Xtranormal allows a user to organize and integrate what he/she has learned into a short animated cartoon. Xtranormal allows users to create fully animated video cartoons to represent learned materials. Videos on Xtranormal are easily created, stored, and shared.

    This site allows you to create flashcards that can include both audio and pictures. The format is basic but flexible. The one thing you have to be aware of is the save function. You have to save cards as you go along in order to view them. The one downside is moving between the preview screen and the edit screen. There is no embedded button to return to the working area you have to use the back navigation button. But since this site is still in Beta that may change.
