Bubbl.us is an online site that allows you to create colorful mind maps.  It is completely free to use and extremely user friendly. The mind maps can be shared in a variety of ways and can also be used in all content areas in most grade levels. 

YouTube is a multimedia website that houses videos. Videos on this site can be viewed and shared through emailing links or embedding videos into blogs, wikis, or websites. It is extremely easy to navigate and search for videos on any content. Home made videos can also be easily uploaded and shared in minutes. 

Survey Monkey is a multimedia tool online that allows users to create custom surveys in minutes. Based on what you create, all the results of the survey participants will be delivered to you. Surveys can contain answer choices, open ended answers, or both. It is free to use and saves time on the creation of surveys. 

Webspiration is a teacher friendly site that contains a vast array of graphic organizers, diagrams, writing organizers and many others. This site is typically used in grades 5-12. With many options, students and/or teacher are able to find an organizer that suits their project or essay. This site is easy to use and is effective in assisting students in independently developing their graphic organizer. 

Voice thread is a collaborative slide show that can hold videos, pictures or audio. It is set up so users viewing the multimedia show can navigate through and share comments is a variety of ways. It does not take long to create and share a project with anyone in the world. 

This site provides great ideas and examples of authentic assessments for a range of content areas. It provides tutorials on how to create and assess authentic assessments through rubrics that are already created or self created rubrics. This is a wonderful tool if you are unfamiliar with the implementation of authentic assessments in your educational environment. 

This is an additional site on digital story making. While it contains great information it can be more difficult to navigate and keep track of important information. Users should be conscious of where they find valuable information.
