    Pre-Training
    Site #1:
    * EDU 2.0
    * http://Edu20.org
    * Free web-based education site with comprehensive features for teachers, students and parents. Anyone can teach and/or learn using the system, whether it's at school, at home, or on a mobile device.
    * This site allows you to make online courses for free, complete with a grade book. I plan to use this site to create my online course and it will include a pre-training quiz. This site is one of the best because of its high quality and interactive nature for no cost.
    Site #2:
    * Lynda
    * http://www.lynda.com
    * Access to this site allows the user to have a multitude of video tutorials and modules on any type of technology. The site uses experts to teach technology skills. Users have a variety of training modules available to them 24/7.
    * Lynda is offered through our Walden University affiliation, but I am not sure how many students take advantage of it. I would like to encourage my school to purchase an account for teachers to use when they need help with a technology skill. It is a very comprehensive training and tutorial site.
    Graphic Organizer
    Site #1:
    * Bubbl.us
    * https://bubbl.us/
    * This tool allows you to create mind maps or concept maps online. This tool can be used with a whole class or students can use it independently. It can be used for literature projects, research projects, social studies, science or any other subject area. Students can collaborate to together online for group projects or create a graphic organizer instead of taking a traditional test. There are many uses for this tool.
    * This is one of the best tools because it is a free and easy online tool for brainstorming and creating concept maps. You do not need special software. You can save your map as an image and share with others. You can also embed your organizer into a website or blog. You do not even need to register but you should if you want to save map.
    Site #2:
    * Text 2 Mind Map
    * http://www.text2mindmap.com/
    * This website is an online free mind mapping tool and graphic organizer. This tool allows a student to take an outline of something they have created and it instantly turns it into a concept map. This is great for students who brainstorm on paper. It allows them to see their ideas textually and visually.
    * This site is better because it allows a student to create a text outline and convert it into a graphic organizer. Other sites only allow you to create a graphic organizer. This tool would incorporate text and graphics together.
    Presentation
    Site #1:
    * Prezi
    * http://www.prezi.com
    * This website allows you to create slideshow-like presentations online for free. It has a zooming feature that allows the audience to only focus on one concept at a time. It allows for creative thought as creators are presented with a blank canvas and have to decide how to organize their thoughts. It is part presentation tool and part graphic organizer. It also allows for collaboration from multiple users.
    * Prezi moves beyond the regular slideshow and allows for a more lively and visual experience. It alleviates the boredom from looking at text slides during a presentation. It is free, easy to use, and does not require a download of software. Your work automatically saves online.
    Site #2:
    * Jing
    * http://jing.com
    * Jing allows you to capture screen shots or videos from your computer instantly and save or share with others. Teachers can create tutorials of how to use a particular software tool or website instantly on their computers and share with students. Students can create videos on any topic to showcase their learning.
    * The best part about this site is that it is FREE! It runs quietly in the background on your computer, with the record function hovering at the top of your screen. You just click the record button when you want to capture what you are doing. It is very easy to use.

    Authentic Assessment Activity
    Site #1:
    * Google Docs
    * http://Docs.google.com
    * This suite of productivity tools is online. It allows you to create spreadsheets, slideshows, and documents online. It is easy to invite someone to collaborate with you. Word files can be uploaded and downloaded to and from your computer. This site will allow participants to create a slideshow as part of their lesson plan for the unit to teach to their students.
    * This site is free, easy to use, and you don't have to use software. It is compatible with Microsoft Office program files. It has a lot of features, although not as many as a software program. It allows online storage of your files and automatically saves what you create.
    Site #2:
    * Google Sites
    * http://sites.google.com
    * This is a powerful website creator that is offered free through Google. There are many features that allow you to develop a multi-page website. Teachers can use this to create a website with resources to share with their students.
    * There are many websites out there that allow you to create a website, however, this one is free, easy to use, and has many features like Google Docs integration and embedding of youtube.com videos.
