    This is an awesome website with a great multimedia video that is itself conceived with Universal Design principles in mind as the narrator's comments are written at the bottom of the screen for people who might be hearing impaired. The video presentation is geared toward people like me who are passionate about creating accessible faculty websites. The coherent structure of the video promotes active engagement and requires focuses on cognitive activity. In addition, the careful selection of relevant information presented seems to take into account Mayers' limited capacity principle from the cognitive theory of multimedia learning(Mayer, 2009). To me, this workshop is undoubtedly a learner-center approach to learning.

    This brief tutorial explains the ease of use of the SMARTBoard, although the participants in this workshop are familiar with the SMARTboard and it's use, they may need a quick refresher and it may show some shortcuts or features that they have not been utilizing. I found this site to be easy to access and the way the information was presented was interesting and engaging to the learners.

It is particularly useful in the generative process as it allows the user to integrate learned materials in a creative manner.

    GoAnimate! allows teachers to quickly create animated lessons. The site offers a variety of options for setting, images, and avatars. Users can use the text-to-speech feature or record their own voices to narrate the videos. These videos can be used to quickly create engaging videos to present content to learners. GoAnimate! can be used to help learners manage essential processing by using the principles of multimedia to create an effective presentation. It is better than other sites because it is so user friendly, and animations can be created quickly.

    This website lets you create an animated video for use in your classroom. View the video on their introduction page to learn about the features and options. A teacher could also let students have the option of animating a presentation for the class to help engage student creativity.

    More great resources for my workshop. This short video, very simply instructs users on adding a wiki within their Bb course. The video is free of extraneous, distracting information. The audio is clear and lined up with the appropriate visual.

    Jing is a free screen casting software available from Tech Smith. Jing allows users to make up to five-minute screen casts that can be used for tutorials and presentations. Jing is useful in both essential and generative learning process.

    Jing allows for the recording of screenshots to create images, as well as filming screen casts of actions performed on the user's screen. It also has an added multimedia feature to add audio to screenshots and screen casts. I chose this website because it will allow me to create a screen cast video for my workshop participants to show them how to use different features in creating a glog using Glogster EDU.

    Jing is a screen capture program that can combine pictures and recorded audio. This is program is like a scaled down Camtasia, and is not as powerful, but also does not involve the cost of Camtasia. The screen capture and voice capture functions do work as advertised. Jing can capture anything displayed on your computer screen, pictures, video being played, movements of the mouse etc, the final product can be saved for further use, shared online, or emailed to others.

Students can demonstrate procedural knowledge through the use of this program and make sense of processes. In addition, teachers can share vast guidance on how online programs and feature work through the creation of screencasts. o The site is free which is pretty incredible considering you can also host your videos and share them via a url which makes emailing large files much easier. The site is easy to use and the quality of the screencasts remarkable.

You could use this blog site to have access your participants by having them blog about how they used the key concepts from your workshop in lessons or daily clasroom activities. This could be a post assessment.

    o Website where learners can create their own blog to share with teacher, other learners, or the profession at large in the case of teacher training. Learners can provide their in-depth analysis of concepts as well as examples and resources to support the information. Rather than a factual knowledge quiz, blogs provide learners with the opportunity to interpret and develop their own understanding and sense of concepts through cognitive processing. o This is an easy to use with multiple templates already set up for quick blog creation. However, the site still provides ample flexibility for the most adventurous type in search of customization.
