This site is a very created site which makes an activity interesting. I chose this site because it has everything you would need to create an authentic assessment activity. This site can be used in the classroom as well in a workshop. It incorporates digital posters, videos, text and pictures. This site is also very easy to use.

The reason I chose this site it is easy to use incorporates many things I would use to put a workshop together.

Brief description of slideshare.net, this is a nice site which converts your PowerPoint into a flash format. Once it is converted you can embed it into any site you are using.

The reason I chose this site is due to the fact I have reviewed many presentations used on this site. I like how the site is sit up to display the text at the bottom of the site. This site is easy to use and most of all it is a free.

Over all this is one of my favorite sites to use for presentation. You can design your presentation in movie maker and upload it into you tube. Once it is uploaded to You tube you can pull the presentation back up and show it from stop to finish, plus it can also be paused whenever you need too.

The reason I chose this site is due to the ease of using it and how easy it can be embedded in a presentation.

This is a new site to me in which I have investigated in order to make graphic organizers. This site can be used to make mind maps as well as graphic organizers. This site allows you to add hyperlinks, and photos. It is a good site for group collaboration.

The reason I chose this site is the ease of using and the idea is it is a free site.

This is a wonderful site to design any graphic organizer in which you can use to design anything in which you would need for a presentation or anything you would need a graphic organizer. The one part of this site that most people will not like is it does cost money. It is not free.

Brief description this site is a good site to use without downloading any software. This site is a web-based screen recorder that is easy to use. When using this site you can create and share screencasts from anywhere on the web, which makes it unique to use.

The reason I chose this site is the ease of using it, plus you do not have to download any software. It can also play everywhere even on iPods and iPhones. In addition the site is free.

Multiplication.com is a learner-center program using the student's cognitive ability. This program uses many strategies to focus on the learner. The program has many interactive activities that the children enjoy and become very engaged in. The site uses animation to reinforce multiplication skills. This site focuses on memorization but also encourages reinforcement if the student misses a problem. The site does not give any instructions as how to solve the problems or come up with an answer. Since this site is learner-centered which does include animation as well as text it is covered under Mayer's theory of cognitive ability using the "presentation mode" (Mayer, pg. 8).

Smartboard.com allows teachers to understand how to use a Smartboard. The site uses dual processing to show us how to use an interactive technology. There are videos on the site which have audio and video clips of students using the Smartboard, which is included in Mayer's cognitive theory of "learner-center" (2009, pg. 9). As Mayer stated, "This is learner-centered because it takes the learner's information-processing activity into account" (2009, pg. 9). Within this site, there are also lessons, which can be used on the Smartboard, which also becomes "learner-centered". Overall, this is a good site to get useful information to use within a classroom or a workshop.

Teachertube.com allows teachers and well as students to use the materials, tutorials and videos on subject matter that is good to use within the classroom. Within this site, there are many videos that are designed around "sensory modality view" (Mayer, pg. 9). This site includes videos that demonstrate processes as well as using animation and text to make learning more enjoyable. The site includes many videos on using a Smartboard, by using animation, video clips, audio, and text to bring across learning to the student. Mayer, states students learn best by using dual processing, which is using eyes and ears for learning. This site is designed around Mayer's cognitive theory (Mayer, 2009) which is learner-centered.
