The CyberBully Hotline is more than a phone number. It's a comprehensive, anti-bullying program consisting of an anonymous, two-way reporting system, school-level and student-level reinforcement materials, and a bully prevention Resource Center.

It is used to strengthen their awareness and understanding of what digital citizenship is and encourages users of technology to be and become responsible DIGItal citiZENS. It shares specific advice and resources on issues such as social networking and cyberbullying and how these relate to and affect their own and other people's online experiences and behaviours. "
By becoming more familiar with their students' online activities, teachers are better able to help them avoid the pitfalls and to deal with any problems that arise.
Webber says it is important that teachers not only recognise the potential risks but appreciate what it is their students love about the internet.
