360 video gives students the power to explore a space from every angle. YouTube hosts a range of 360 video content and one of my favorites is from the BBC. On the BBC's YouTube channel you'll find different types of video options for a virtual visit to places around the world. As you search through their content you'll see that they've tagged their videos as 360 to make it especially easy to find.

In our technologically-driven culture, we engage with digital media content many times each day. Copyright law isn't something that everyone has always needed to take into consideration in their daily lives, but that has changed in recent years. This video explains how we behave safely and ethically as consumers and creators of digital content.

Excellent interactive site targetting primary studnets but some contwould stimulate discussion with older students. The interactive climate change map (from the Weather and Climate menu button) is an excellent start. Site includes games, videos to view, things to make and much more with a menu that addresses science concepts.

The rise in popularity of social media platforms and apps has opened the door for storytellers to deliver their content in inventive ways that let them engage with the audience. Transmedia storytelling is becoming a way of life for many who create content, but the definition of the phrase isn't always clear. Basically, it's taking a single story and breaking it down into pieces that are delivered via varying and multiple media platforms. Those platforms can include websites, films, YouTube videos, Twitter accounts, apps, paper brochures - you name it. Ideally, each piece of the story should stand on its own while also feeding into a bigger picture.

It's well known that public libraries are no longer just about the books - even e-books. Many community libraries are receiving 21st century digital-age makeovers: Numerous digital technologies, maker spaces to invite creation, even video production suites and 3-D printers now inhabit many libraries across the country.
