  • First they promote "a new instructional approach that engages learners". New Tech incorporates project-based learning (PBL) as the center of the instructional approach. PBL is facilitated by technology and student inquiry to engage learners with issues and questions that are relevant. Teachers design rigorous projects tied to state standards and customized to local community and student interests. Students collaborate in teams to acquire and apply knowledge and skills to solve problems. Next, " New Tech builds "a culture that empowers students and teachers". It is trust, respect, and responsibility that become the center of the learning culture. Students are put in charge of their own learning, becoming self-directed learners, while teachers are given the administrative support and resources to assist students in this realization. Last, New Tech maintains that "integrated use of technology" is essential for 21st Century education.

The KHODIYAR INFRATECH Jumbo Bag Unloading System, also known as Jumbo bag dischargers and super sack unloaders are specifically designed to provide an easy, clean and economical way to discharge the entire contents of bulk and semi-bulk bags, especially when the material is less than free-flowing. Top 10 Online Tools for Teaching Science and Math - 0 views

  •
Why use Web 2.0 tools in science and math classes? The primary reason is they facilitate access to input and interaction with content through reading, writing, listening, and speaking. These tools offer enormous advantages for science and math teachers, in terms of helping their students learn using Web 2.0 tools. For example: * Most of these tools can be edited from any computer connected to the Internet. Teachers can add, edit and delete information even during class time. * Students learn how to use these tools for academic purposes and, at the same time, can transfer their use to their personal lives and future professional careers. * RSS feeds allow students to access all the desired research information on one page. * Students learn to be autonomous in their learning process.

To Blog or Not To Blog in Science or Math Class - 0 views

  •
The primary purpose of blog is to facilitate interaction between a teacher and his or her students. This is possible because a blog is a dynamic tool which can be easily updated or transformed as necessary to meet the needs of a science or math class. The integration of blog technology in a class requires an investment of time. Because of this commitment, additional evidence is needed to support the integration this technology in a science or math class curriculum.

"About Speak Up Speak Up is an annual national research project facilitated by Project Tomorrow. The purpose of the project is to: * Collect and report the unfiltered feedback from students, parents and teachers on key educational issues. * Use the data to stimulate local conversations. * Raise national awareness about the importance of including the viewpoints of students, parents, and teachers in the education dialogue. Look to Learn - About L2L - 0 views

"One of the best ways for students of every age to develop greater cognitive sophistication is to join in a shared looking activity with at least one facilitating adult. As infants, children sat in our laps as we read picture books together. Today we can foster critical thinking by engaging students in regular experiences of 'Learning to Look.' All it takes is: 1. a computer, 2. a data projector, 3. at least one interesting Web resource and 4. an open-ended question or 'thinking prompt' Let's assume you can organize the computer and data projector so what's needed is help with the Web resources and the prompts"
