The Hult Center for the Performing Arts is a performing arts venue in Eugene, Oregon that hosts more than 700 events and activities a year and acommodating local, national, and international art and performance groups. Located in the vibrant downtown community on Willamette Street between 6th & 7th Avenues, adjacent to the Hilton Eugene and Conference Center.

The Hult Center is a great organization! An event/concert called the, "Bohemian Dub Ball," showcasing art as well as music by RJD2, Medium Troy, Eskimo, and other local performers on May 10 will be held at the Hult Center! The event will have student and community involvement. A great way to enjoy a Saturday night and be exposed to a wide range of creative sectors.

Die Antwoord is a South African group that consists of performers Ninja, Yo-Landi Vi$$er, and DJ Hi-Tek. I've never been to one of their concerts, but I've heard great things. According to everyone I've talked to about the group, their performances have been the most insane anyone has ever seen. Their concert is this Saturday at the Cuthbert Amphitheatre!! I strongly recommend attending this event!

This site is great! Found myself browsing for a while and enjoyed all of the different types of dance and art that it supplied. The range of style and background is entertaining and I was able to use this as inspiration for a possible art world.

This is very useful website to search and find the performances. Yet is it also reports news from a expand world narrative not just a art performance. It is definitely can help me to write the assignment next week to define an art world.

The UO's Arts and Administration is presenting the third annual (sub)Urban Projections presentation of digital arts, electronic music, modern dance, and installation art this Thursday, Jan. 30 at 8 p.m. at the Hult Center lobby in downtown Eugene. Experience art and performance that reimagines the main lobby, staircases, hallways, walls, ceilings, and spaces-in-between with presentations of thirteen works by artists and performers. The two-hour event will lead the audience through space and change the way that they think of the lobby spaces.

This is my absolute favorite place to spend time during the summer months! The Cuthbert has never disappointed me in terms of quality live music. The concerts are always reasonably priced and are decently regulated for the most part so families can attend. The atmosphere is unlike any other venue in Oregon and I highly recommend making a concert part of your summer agenda if you are living in Eugene this summer. On The Rocks was founded in 1999 by Leo DaSilva and Peter Hollens when they attended the University of Oregon. The group established itself through five albums with an EP, a viral video of Lady Gaga's Bad Romance, and appearances on NBC's show "The Sing Off". And now they are a new group of twelve living up to their past of fame and notoriety. You may ask us, "Why don't you sing Lady Gaga?" or "Where are the guys from the 'Sing Off'?" Sadly those days are gone. Those who graduated left us a great legacy and we look up to their talent every time we sing. But talent never graduates. Talent built this group from a time before the boom of TV shows and viral videos, because having the time of our lives has always been the goal and will continue to be forever. So know this: Every time we perform, we step on stage with the vigor of every man who has ever sang in our name. On. The. Rocks.

I really enjoy these guys because of the community that they create while singing and the way they can harmonize themselves all together.

The men in OTR are so talented and show perseverance with all of their endeavors. Especially knowing one of the members and how he balances about 7 different social scenes with the U of O, I am truly amazed with what they can do. They don't just use their voices but also their personalities which to me is one of the best parts when it comes to entertaining.

On Sunday, May 4, the Community Center for the Performing Arts hosts an Opening Reception for their exhibit "The Woodmen of the World: Their History and Their Hall" in celebration of Historic Preservation Month. The reception will include an exhibit talk and building tour led by historic preservation specialist Jon Pincus.

I will be doing a short dance piece on stage during Medium Troy's set! Everyone should come to this unique event! Featuring RJD2, Medium Troy, and Eskmo performing with the Bohemian Dub Orchestra! Harmonic Laboratory, Devin the Dude, Ants on a Melon, Light at Play & Aerial Silks transform the stunning Silva Concert Hall into an epic costume party showcasing hundreds of Oregon's finest artists from all different backgrounds including dance, visual arts and interactive media. May marks the return of our Concert Production Workshop series! This series will cover the ins and outs of putting on a live concert from both the venue and performer perspective. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about all that goes into putting on a live concert. From booking and promotion to production and band etiquette, these workshops will introduce you to the world of concert production taught by professionals in the field. Whether you are a musician or a fan, a casual observer or a college professor this will strive to give you a spectrum of knowledge for event planning and production as well as the occasional foray into abstract concepts of sound and light. We encourage both adults and youth age sixteen and up to participate. Artists Giving Hope is a non-profit organization encouraging artists to come together to inspire people to act with compassion and kindness, regardless of race, gender, sexuality or beliefs. We do this through performance, education and supporting like-minded charities. We are starting with the dance world and expanding to other art and performance forms as well, including musicians, actors and athletes.
