This is my absolute favorite place to spend time during the summer months! The Cuthbert has never disappointed me in terms of quality live music. The concerts are always reasonably priced and are decently regulated for the most part so families can attend. The atmosphere is unlike any other venue in Oregon and I highly recommend making a concert part of your summer agenda if you are living in Eugene this summer. Sasquatch Music Festival is an annual music festival held at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington. In recent years it has taken place on the Memorial Day weekend, running for three to four days. Sasquatchtypically features a range of musical genres, with the emphasis being on indie rock bands and singer-songwriters, but also including alternative rock, hip hop.

Such great memories from Sasquatch 2013! One of the most amazing venues as well as unforgettable acts, including The XX and Disclosure. I wish I could go again!

Oh also, a note on booking shows -- for the best chance of a successful booking, it's best to have a show already lined up, so like 3-4 bands who are ready to play. It's also best to plan it at least a month in advance. Shows can be done on shorter notice, but there's a much better chance if there aren't many shows planned in the month you want your event to be.

The Hult Center for the Performing Arts is a performing arts venue in Eugene, Oregon that hosts more than 700 events and activities a year and acommodating local, national, and international art and performance groups. Located in the vibrant downtown community on Willamette Street between 6th & 7th Avenues, adjacent to the Hilton Eugene and Conference Center.

The Hult Center is a great organization! An event/concert called the, "Bohemian Dub Ball," showcasing art as well as music by RJD2, Medium Troy, Eskimo, and other local performers on May 10 will be held at the Hult Center! The event will have student and community involvement. A great way to enjoy a Saturday night and be exposed to a wide range of creative sectors.

I was looking at upcoming events provided by the Hult Center's website because my roommate recently danced at a show there. I really liked the venue, and while browsing I stumbled upon this Art Walk that will take place in the beginning of June. It looks really interesting and fun!

CINEMA PACIFIC is a collaborative effort between the University of Oregon and the Eugene community. Administered by graduate students in the UO Arts and Administration Program, who work alongside undergraduate interns, CINEMA PACIFIC utilizes venues across campus and Eugene for a five-day festival of screenings, live multimedia performances, and art exhibitions.

"The mission of the Museum of Photographic Arts is to inspire, educate and engage the broadest possible audience through the presentation, collection and preservation of photography, film and video." One of the many museums within the SD Balboa Park area, this venue used photography to capture some of the most powerful pictures.

What gorgeous imagery! It was hard to believe that these images aren't digital, but from film. The colors and textures are stunning. As a mixed-media photographic artist, I found Fayman's work particularly fascinating. Thank you for posting.

It provides culture activities happening throughout Eugene from festivals, performances and exhibits to classes, auditions and ways to engage with the arts through volunteer and board opportunities.

Non-profit supporting art and cultural venues dedicated to increasing popular awareness of, and participation in, the arts of Oakland. My sister currently attends the University of California, Berkeley and says this is a really cool event! It is held on he first Friday of every month and is a great way to bring the Bay area community together through arts. There are also events held of Saturdays that are pretty cool to check out as well.

Die Antwoord is a South African group that consists of performers Ninja, Yo-Landi Vi$$er, and DJ Hi-Tek. I've never been to one of their concerts, but I've heard great things. According to everyone I've talked to about the group, their performances have been the most insane anyone has ever seen. Their concert is this Saturday at the Cuthbert Amphitheatre!! I strongly recommend attending this event!
