  • That's were diigo comes in. It allows you to make annotations directly on Web pages. It also helps you manage your bookmarks. You can make these public or you can keep them to yourself. It's a valuable tool! You'll need to sign up for an account. And you should try the toolbar for Firefox or Internet Explorer. There's a bit of a learning curve. But I think you'll find it worthwhile. diigo.com

      I find that highlighting with Diigolet (with Safari in Mac OS X) feels better than with installed versions of Diigo.

      Bookmarks always default to public (not private) in Diigolet 3.1b572. Beware!

  • They are responsible for highlighting each verb

  • 3. Once the highlighting is complete, the students parse each verb

  • 4. As the students are parsing
  • live Twitterfall of their hashtag
  • 5. When time is up
  • check the verbs as a class
  • 6. As we work, we reTweet correct verb parsings
  • If we find mistakes
  • fix them and Tweet the corrected versions
  • 7. Finally, the students cut-and-paste
  • Google Docs
  • all takes about five minutes
