Collection of SketchNotes on a wide variety of topics. An interesting alternative to the traditional outline / long-hand format of note-taking. I've noticed many students don't seem to have a good grasp on taking and organizing class notes. I wonder what introducing this as an option would do for them? Evaluating Online Courses - 2 views

I like Central Michigan's online instructor self-check for course development. Easy to complete with simple radio buttons. I also like Michigan Comm. College's rubric style so that you can show level of progress at achieving certain standards. Great examples -- maybe something we can apply to our processes here.

Thought this was a nice easy read regarding a topic that comes up each year. We all know educational games should tackle more than memorization and that multiple choice questions offer a puerile level of analysis, but seems like we keep falling back into these two traps. Looking forward to tackling new projects that treat learning as the ally instead of the goal, and encourage exploration more than stepping through checklists. Just sharing because I enjoy chewing this stuff over all the time.

Components of development and delivery: Content development, pre-semester setup, and overall involvement in the class decrease in time consumption by the third iteration. Yet, Grading & Assessment time consumption actually increases. The survey found that [of the respondents]: Learning curves: The problems, "myths," and concerns associated with online course development and delivery are more likely associated with pedagogy than with technology.
