Great tie in with the RIck Hill video in Module 1. Indigenous learning teaches us about the connectedness that stands in contrast to this MOOC even as we seek it in different forms through this sort of sharing and commenting and "liking."

I find many of the questions, and the perspectives of the answers, to be useful in thinking about teaching and learning.

Indigenous teachers bring in the non-Indigenous in a very radical way - a new name, a family relationship. This article was also interesting for the Indigenous response to a species completely outside their normal knowledge structures.

I am posting this articles because I am interested in understanding where it is ok to draw the line. As a citizen, I endorse freedom of speech and information. As a father, I prefer a more secure and controlled environment for my children. I defend my right to choose for myself the information I want to get, but do I have the right to exclude someone's opinion if his or her points of view are not shared or do not stand for by the principles of the community?

This is the second article. Censorship is endorsed under the argument of responsible use and cyberbullying. Where do you draw the line?

By finding security holes before criminals do it, maybe they are good for your privacy? I think this video is a good introduction to the global hacker culture.
