The website provides viewers with practice guides and tips, which are ideal for students, and workshops, which would be ideal for educators. Musician's Way is a companion website to the text of the same name written by Gerald Klickstein. The website also has resources for teachers who are looking for inspiration to bring more creativity into their classroom.

This is a supporting website for Gerald Klickstein's book, "The Musician's Way". Resources are organized by category, most of which contain additional reading/links on a topic like practice, creativity, and performance. Additionally, teachers/students can download practice documents for planning, timelines, and developing good practice habits as a musician.

Best Practices for Children's Choir is a podcast with Matthew Parker discussing his best practices when working with a children's choir. The discussion content ranges from choosing music to engaging in warm-ups. Matthew also shares his favorite octavos, composers/arrangers, warm-ups, and tips when choosing music. This is very useful information and a great resource to use when working with your elementary and/or middle school choir.

The Knowledge, Research and Innovation tab is great as it is the latest research happening. You can also find conferences, meetings, journals, conducting, composing and performing tab.

This site is a great resource for orchestra teachers. The purpose of this resource is to provide information about the current state of music programs and opportunities for orchestral students. The content of this site is mainly articles and registration links for different conferences. There are also links to webinars, fellowships, etc. as well as current issues revolving around orchestral music/education. Some sources particularly helpful for teachers are a link with interesting facts about orchestra and articles about how to reach out to bigger audiences. It offers a subscription for "Symphony" Magazine and provdes information about composing, conducting, and performing, all major elements or any music education program.

This page lends itself as a particularly valuable resource, especially for those whose weakness is intonation. In it, you will find philosophies, phrases, analogies, activities, and what the author terms "common threads" for approaching the aforementioned topic with your students. Among the most popular suggestions are singing, practicing characteristic tone quality, and listening down, or back, to the tuba section--all of which can and should be practiced in the early stages of a student's musical development.

This blog compared similarities between physical therapy and teaching music. It was interesting to read the list of fifteen items which are shared between the two very different topics. The list started with hydrating and described the importance of drinking plenty of water after a strenuous exercise as well as when practicing music. My favorite parts are the article included the idea of practicing slower as well as practicing for shorter periods of times more often. I think those are great teaching tips to help our students improve. So often we as musicians and teachers just want to do everything in the fastest way possible. We also spend so much of our time staying busy with life that we seem to squeeze all of our practicing into one time rather than little by little.

The tips that are listed are very practical and assist with developing tone, range, and technique. Within the website are also links to information regarding the Julliard School, recordings, mentor professors, Griego Mouthpieces, Smartmusic, Edwards Instruments, Aleesi Publications, and the Alessi Seminar.
