Wie profitiert Kulturmanagement von den neuen Medien und welche Best-Practice-Beispiele gibt es - bzw. noch spannender die Frage, wie können die Studierenden im Zuge dieser Forschungsarbeit das erarbeitete Ergebnis selbst später zu einem zukunftsträchtigen Modell für andere Hochschulen und Bildungseinrichtungen verwandeln? Sozusagen von der Pionierforschung zum Vorreiter und klaren Besetzer einer neuen Form des Jobprofils Kulturmanager. So oder so: Es wird spannend und lehrreich

Kunst kommt von Können - das gilt auch immer mehr für die wirtschaftliche Seite des Kulturbetriebs. Ob in Stiftungen, Museen oder Galerien: Als Verantwortlicher musst du neben einem künstlerisch-ästhetischem Know-how vor allem Managementqualitäten mitbringen. Denn es heißt u.a. Fördergelder eintreiben, Ausstellungen organisieren oder Kunstsammler überzeugen. Der Bachelor-Studiengang Kulturmanagement (KM) bietet dir genau diese Verbindung aus ökonomischem und kulturellem Verständnis. So wirst du befähigt, z.B. eine Galerie zu eröffnen oder als Theaterintendant zu arbeiten. Mit der ersten Retrospektive können wir gleich beginnen:

Ironically,, I'm finding that the Indigenous groups are way more savvy about social media than this academic...So, we are posting images of objects on Flickr for people to think about before they come to Oxford to see them, have started a Facebook (invited) group for participants, and are thinking about other ways to use new media to create new relationships between museums and overseas source communities.
