upper elementary Student Objectives: Students will be able to… - Identify that pH is a term used by scientists. - Respond that some tastes of food are related to pH. - Indicate that a scale is used to indicate pH intensity. - Indicate that there are acids and bases on this scale. - Identify the pH of a liquid by using pH test strips.

Objective: Students will learn significance of scientific testing and how scientists get results and information. They will learn about acids and bases in relation to the environment and people.
