I'm a writer who uses new media to tell stories, create character and story worlds. I create and direct cross-media or transmedia projects and Alternate Reality Games. I'm dedicated to developing innovative forms of entertainment and experiences for wide audiences. I'm a member of the Pervasive Media Studio, Bristol, UK. I've worked with Paramount Studios, Warner Bros.,Bebo, British Red Cross, Hewlett Packard Labs, BBC, Ridley Scott Associates

We are a multi-disciplinary lab exploring and producing pervasive media content, applications and services. We work within a brilliant community of artists, creative companies, technologists and academics.

HIGHRISE explores vertical living in the global suburbs. It's multi-year, many-media collaborative documentary experiment at the National Film Board of Canada, directed by Katerina Cizek, produced by Gerry Flahive. Over the years, HIGHRISE will generate many projects, including mixed media, interactive documentaries, mobile productions, live presentations, installations and films. Collectively, the projects will both shape and realize the HIGHRISE vision: to see how the documentary process can drive and participate in social innovation rather than just to document it; and to help re-invent what it means to be an urban species in the 21st century.

In 2011, Sundance Film Festival created The New Frontier Story Lab, an initiative created to foster the development of a new style of media production. As media began to depart from traditional, linear films intended for a passive audience, the launch represented an innovative new era in entertainment.

With the establishment of the Center for Future Storytelling, the Media Lab, together with Plymouth Rock Studios, is rethinking storytelling for the 21st century. Made possible by a seven-year, $25-million commitment by Plymouth Rock Studios, the Center takes a new and dynamic approach to how we tell our stories, creating new methods, technologies, and learning programs that recognize and respond to the changing communications landscape.

Masterpiece 2.0 is a social media art project by Baschz and Selfcontrolfreak and the first ever unique painting made with a Web 2.0 approach. In the summer and fall of 2009 a multilayered canvas and animation was created which could be influenced and followed by website visitors online 24 hours a day
