Das neue Projekt von Jason Eppink - inspiriert von den Surveillance Camera Players: "Surprise Surveillance Theater was an interactive theater experience, performed live for hundreds, unbeknownst to the unwitting stars of the show. It was part of the Lost Horizon Night Market, an extraordinary, modular, participatory art party that takes place in unmarked box trucks on low-traffic back streets in New York City. The goal was to take unwitting revelers and throw them into a narrative about a black market, requiring the target to pass secret notes, have rendezvous, wear a wire, and make a mystery delivery. All of this was watched by a live audience on more than a dozen TVs showing footage captured by strategically placed video cameras, but the scope of the experience was only revealed to the target at the very end when he or she delivered a secret package to the waiting audience." Mit Project ROME stellt Adobe ein Tool vor, mit dem sich Audio, Video, Text und Grafik zu interaktiven Präsentationen zusammenführen und veröffentlichen lassen. Das ganze kommt als eine Art Flash/Dreamweaver/Indesign-Mashup daher und richtet sich vornehmlich an Einsteiger. Im Demovideo sieht das Zusammenstellen der Inhalte dann auch recht intuitiv aus. Im YouTube-Kanal zu Project ROME finden sich Videos, die viele Funktionen erklären und Hilfestellung leisten sollen. Ab sofort kann jeder das Tool selbst probieren.

Die Internetoper ist ein Projekt des Musiktheaters im Revier Gelsenkirchen in Zusammenarbeit mit RUHR.2010 Das Henze-Projekt Neue Musik für eine Metropole. Bei der Internetoper seid Ihr die Regisseure, Darsteller, Bühnenbildner, Filmkünstler. Ihr könnt die Szenen der „Affäre Manon", der Liebesgeschichte zwischen der jungen, luxusliebenden Manon Lescaut und dem armen Studenten Armand Des Grieux nach Euren Vorstellungen und mit Euren Bildern auf die virtuelle Bühne bringen.
