Blogging is now a worldwide phenomenon with weblogs reaching a potential audience of hundreds of millions. Blogs have been described as the ultimate in publishing for the people and have been used to challenge governments and the press. Steve O'Hear, one of Britain's digital evangelists, explores how blogs can be used in schools. Steve finds some enthusiastic primary age bloggers and sees how it helps in literacy, ICT skills and a range of other subjects. He finds many of the benefits extend beyond the curriculum. Blogging can help pupils: * Develop confidence * Improve their self expression * Get a real sense of fulfilment from publishing their work In West Blatchington School in Hove, blogging is practised by everyone from the head down. Steve visits the school's after-school blogging club, a special bloggers' assembly and sees weblogs being used in the school's autistic unit.

It may not be an easy question to answer when your kid ask you "Who was Steve Jobs?" But there's a book which is tackling that subject in a kid-friendly way.

To the world at large Steve Jobs is known as a meticulous product manager but still Iphone 4 Antenagate is a reality.

Denzel Hayes Washington, Jr. is an A-list Hollywood actor known for his knack for portraying real-life characters namely Steve Biko, Malcolm X, Rubin "Hurricane" Carter, Melvin B. Tolson, Frank Lucas, and Herman Boone. He's got two Academy Awards under his belt and has also won a Tony. People Magazine named him the Sexiest Man Alive in 1996. So far, he has directed a couple of movies where he also starred in which became critically successful. A Christian, Denzel has no qualms about declaring his faith in Jesus Christ.

This year is the fiftieth birthday of Harvard's Project Zero, a research project designed to explore the nature of thinking and learning and from this suggest pedagogies which align with what we know about the mind. For its birthday celebration Project Zero shared insights from its five decades of research with presentations from Howard Gardner, David Perkins, Shari Tasman, Steve Seidel and Daniel Wilson. The presentations revealed the changing nature of the work of Project Zero from its early days and focus on arts education to its current position as a research organisation with broad interests across education but with a focus on thinking, understanding and the workings of the mind.
