While the effects of the economic crises are still there in 2012, employers are finding ways to increase employee motivation and hence, better the performance whilst lowering investments costs and for this, nonmonetary incentives are being largely promoted because they have proven to be pretty successful for that matter. Much has been done to make things better and a lot is still being done around the world to get that much needed uplift from the economic turndown. Not only businesses but the whole economies are trying to escape the effects of the unwanted situation bust still, five years on, tries and strategies are underway and nothing has shown very appreciable results. Promotion of nonmonetary incentives however, has done little to make things better, but even this strategy needs much planning and management.
