Manila, Philippines: Business Process Association of the Philippines (BPAP) has said that it will continue to support American businesses as well as the fragile economy of the country. The statement was issued after President Barack Obama was elected as the American president for the second time and hints came out that he might open up the debate on outsourcing once again.

As of early 2012, a report released by Asian Development Bank has said that the most effective ways to eliminate poverty is focusing on and setting up industry and manufacturing plants, as supplements to the Business Process Outsourcing because the BPO industry alone, has not been able to create sufficient jobs for the Filipino populace.

Nonmonetary incentives are being largely used to increase employee motivation towards the job since the great economic turndown that was seen globally in 2007. While the effects of the economic crises are still there in 2012, employers are finding ways to increase employee motivation and hence, better the performance whilst lowering investments costs and for this, nonmonetary incentives are being largely promoted because they have proven to be pretty successful for that matter. Much has been done to make things better and a lot is still being done around the world to get that much needed uplift from the economic turndown. Not only businesses but the whole economies are trying to escape the effects of the unwanted situation bust still, five years on, tries and strategies are underway and nothing has shown very appreciable results. Promotion of nonmonetary incentives however, has done little to make things better, but even this strategy needs much planning and management.

New Delhi, India: It has been estimated by call center gurus in India, one of the leading outsourcing economies in the world alongside China, Philippines and Pakistan, that the cal center industry will get a boost in 2012 after having seen a sharp downfall in 2011.

Washington D.C., United States: the World Bank has spoken well about the call center industry of the Philippines and announced the benefits that it is to bring to the economy of the country. This has taken the world's attention towards the Philippines and wooed the major players in this industry all around the globe.

Washington D.C., United States: President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney once again, come face to face clashing over their beliefs on outsourcing and the American economy. While Obama maintained his stance of stopping to outsource, Romney stood firm on the point that loss of jobs in the United States was not due to outsourcing but due to manufacturing jobs given to other countries.
