There is an astonishing amount of disbelief that the users of web pages have learned to scroll and that they do so regularly.

"Most people-imagine this: you can't draw very well, but even if you can draw very well, suppose you come in and you've got to put together animation or drawings and show it to a world-class, famous animator. Well, you don't want to show something that is weak, or poor, so you want to hold off until you get it right. And the trick is to actually stop that behavior. Could be useful as we're considering how to increase user registrations.

Critique of mega-dropdowns; we should monitor the performance of our new pretty. Originally published: Aug 24, 2011 Mega menus seem like such a good idea. After all, they make the marketing team happy, as they remove all that nasty navigation away from the prime real estate of the home page, leaving room for the team's messaging goodness.
