In Safari, in a workflow, a Diigo 'read later' concept need not equate to a button, need not involve Diigolet.

WYSIWYG toolbar in the editing window need not be as complex as the toolbars in the mock-ups at http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/topic/531 See suggestions at http://www.diigo.com/annotated/bd275badf20bce8bf709b39edb1a5cc9 The toolbar should include at least the hyper-link button/icon (to resolve angle bracket issues that cause loss of content), plus maybe the bulleted list button/icon. Other features such as font, font size, underline and paragraph alignment are less useful (debatably undesirable) in comments and sticky notes. Addition (upload) of graphics would be nice, if performance does not suffer.

This sticky note added using Firefox 3.0.4 on Mac OS X, and shared with the Diigo Community group.

Metaphor: we do not find lighting-on and lighting-off switches at opposite ends of a room; there's a single switch in a predictable place.

For as long as lists and groups were less than clear, I was careful to _not_ use the word 'list'.

Whether the co-operative management will involve lists, or tagging, or some combination of the two, I don't know yet. I'll await Diigo feature evolution before giving it more thought.
