Habituellement Activeille ne s’intéresse qu’aux outils éprouvés et rodés, dont la valeur ajoutée dans le domaine des activités quotidiennes de l’entreprise est vérifiée par un solide retour d’expérience. Les solutions “high tech”, mais à l’avenir incertain, sont plutôt abordées ici. Mais voilà un outil qui vient de sortir en version publique, après six mois de tests privés, et qui est tout à fait remarquable. Il s’agit de Diigo, au nom un peu bizarre, correspondant à l’acronyme “Digest of Internet Information, Groups and Other stuff”, qui se présente comme un outil de partage de liens (social bookmarking), mais va bien au-delà. Peu importe la théorie, extrêment riche au demeurant, c’est encore la pratique qui nous intéresse dans ce produit. On peut en faire deux lectures. La première, celle des concepteurs, permet de découvrir une architecture riche qui couvre la gestion des liens, avec de nombreuses possibilités de classement (répertoires, tags), la recherche dans les signets (incluant le texte de la page et les annotations). Le contenu d’une page web peut être sélectionné (en totalité ou partie) et marqué (par soulignement). Cette mise en valeur de paragraphe reste attachée à la page et est rendue visible aux autres membres de la communauté ! J’ai également saisi une note brève.

To exploit it fully, it is preferable to download the bar of the tasks. But, it is possible to be exempted some. On the other hand, the use of the bookmarklet appears essential to me to an about normal operation. Here a first overflight of the tool. I will make a more detailed report when I sufficiently study it with the daily newspaper. Integration with the blog with the possibility of writing a comment since Diigo which is posted (provided that one succeeded in identifying his API endpoint… what is not yet my case.). The supported blogs are Blogger, Wordpress. Important: not to forget to record the bookmarklet “diigolet” and to use it to activate the functions of underlining and annotations (ajax). Research relates on the tags or the full-text, autement known as, all the fields including the extracts and the annotations but also the bookmarquée page! ! Searching bookmarks in full-text will search the, tags, comments, and the full text of each bookmarked page. Thus, when searching for several search words in full-text, the search results are those bookmarks which contain all the search words in its, tags, comments, but the full text.

Diigo vient de sortir en version publique, après plusieurs mois de bêta privée. Ce nouveau service est avant tout un outil de “social bookmarking” (tu bookmarkes et je surveille ce que tu fais). On y retrouve donc les fonctionnalités classique de ce type d’outil, avec quelques plus appréciables tels que la recherche fulltext ou la possibilité de republier les bookmarks stockés sur diigo sur d’autres services tels que Delicious ou Blinklist. Mais ce qui fait la force de ce service c’est le système d’annotations : tu peux surligner et annoter différentes parties de la page, tout ceci étant ensuite stocké avec ton bookmark. C’est très pratique pour ce souvenir par exemple de ce qui t’avais intéressé dans une page donnée. De plus, grâce à la magie de l’Ajax, tu peux aussi voir toutes les annotations faites par la communauté lorsque tu arrives sur un site… Si ce que je te raconte n’est pas clair, il te suffit d’essayer par toi même pour comprendre la force du système.
