Classification of Optical Prism According to the uses of optical prisms , it can be divided into: 1. Normally, dove prisms are used in the parallel optical path based on critical angle principle to meet total internal reflection with limited FOV. Penta Prisms are five-sided prisms and unaffected by slight movements.
