    Diigo

    Name:
    Diigo
    URL:
    http://www.diigo.com/post?url=${url}&title=${title}
    Icon:
    http://www.diigo.com/favicon.ico

Another tip for the bookmarking sites: You can add "&tags=XXX" to the URL to automatically enter in some tags on the posting page. Just replace XXX with whatever tags you want. Diigo separates by comma, Delicious by space (you might have to put "%20" instead of a space, I'm not sure).

If your favorite bookmarking site isn't here, rolling your own for your favorite site is easy. Just check out the API & bookmarklet for your site, and refer to the above examples as a reference. I've never worked with an API before, but figured out diigo's in a few minutes.

Request: Remembering Diigolet commenting privacy setting - 100 views

    YA Diigolet feature request:

I'm big on publicly commenting my posts to add to the infocloud, but currently the default mode on the diigolet is set to private. It would be nice if this setting could be remembered so one doesn't have to change this every time (this could also be helpful if implemented in the "Bookmark Privacy" menu too, for people who post private bookmarks in bulk).

Also, I feel that it would be semantically more pleasing if the order of the "Existing Comments" & Comment Entry fields were switched (keeping the editing fields in one section). Is it just me?

I also saw this: http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/topic/1557, and was wondering if bulk editing of comments is implemented in the current version of Diigo.

Thanks again. Despite the few quirks I've had with Diigo, the features, community and potential around the service has me convinced. I know ya'll got a lot of work on your hands and that the diigolet isn't priority #1, but nonetheless, I appreciate the work and quick replies put in by yall. I'm here to stay! ^___^

EDIT: I just realized that comments ≠ description. Looking forward to the next version of diigolet.

Just wanted to chime in, I've noticed the same problem too in my Japanese tags. For example:

    http://www.diigo.com/user/hagure/村上隆
    (murakami takashi)

There are only 2 links displayed here, should be about 70 or so (all imported from del.icio.us, but I also tried re-adding them to a few links, to no change). I've noticed this bug in some other of my kanji tags, most which have many different english and japanese tags. On the other hand:

    http://del.icio.us/haguremetaru/東京
    (tokyo)

Everything comes up like it should.

Ah...Non-roman/unicode in urls is a b***h, huh? I remember running into so many problems trying to create a "Japanese Dictionary Lookup" bookmarklet, that I just gave up. Best of luck figuring things out!

PS: Are these "me-too" bug posts encouraged? Or am I just adding noise? I wanna help out with bugs and such, but don't wanna be a bother.

I just came over from del.icio.us, and have found diigo to be a great alternative (I love that I can continue to post there at the same time!), but there's a few features that I really miss in the bookmarklet.

The first is the "Recommended tags" section. Being able to quickly click through tags that I've used before to tag a page helps my workflow a lot, since I don't have to try to remember what I've used before.

The other one is similar, its the "Popular Tags" section, for pretty much the same reasons (and to find new useful tags to utilize)

I know both features are available in the Firefox toolbar, but despite its add-on goodness, FF has been too laggy for me to use, (although the recent beta, along with diigo has me intrigued) and I've been using Camino as my main browser (with Safari/WebKit on the side).

Other than that though, the bookmarklet is great! The service is wonderful! Thanks for everything!

Oh, is there a bookmarklet that allows "true" one click bookmarking to the unread section? I've been using instapaper for this, but it'd be nice to have one do-it-all tool (the current bookmarklet is at best a two-click method. Workflow! =)

PS: I figure someone else has requested the same thing, but I did a search for "bookmarklet", but couldn't find anything related to this.

Can't wait. I'm just about settled here with diigo... seems like the rest of blogosphere is coming in droves too!
