Cognos Framework Manager - ABC LEARN - 0 views

  •
Getting started with Cognos Framework Manager Framework Manager is a metadata modeling tool that drives query generation for IBM Cognos software. A model is a collection of metadata that includes physical information and business information for one or more data sources. Whenever we start creating a model, we need to understand the requirement first and then we can choose whether to go for star schema or snowflake schema or just a relational schema. While creating a framework manager metadata model we will come across the below terms: Project: A project contains a model, namespaces, packages, data sources, and related information for maintaining and sharing model information. The project will be saved as a .cpf file and an XML file which defines the project. Different terms associated with Framework Manager: Models: Model contains your dimension tables, fact tables, and the related join information. A framework manager model is a metadata layer between your database and the reporting applications. Using Model, we can create dimension tables, fact tables and even create filters. Namespace: A namespace uniquely identifies query items, dimensions, query subjects, and other objects. You import different databases into separate namespaces to avoid duplicate names. Packages: A package is a subset of the dimensions, query subjects, and other objects defined in the project. A package is what is actually published to the IBM Cognos BI server, and it is used to create reports, analyses, and ad hoc queries. Dimensions: A dimension is a broad grouping of data about a major aspect of a business, such as products, dates, or markets. Query Subjects: A query subject is a set of query items that have an inherent relationship. In most cases, query subjects behave like tables. Query subjects produce the same set of rows regardless of which columns were queried. There are different types of query subjects which we can learn going further. Query Items: A query it

Komando.com, Website for The Kim Komando Radio Show®, Kim's Cool Sites - 1 views

  • Write on Web pages 7/31/2006 SPONSORED BY E-Mail This Printer-Friendly Since I use the Internet so much for work, I'm always looking to get more from it. Fortunately, Web programmers are working away at improvements. When I research for my show, I often print out Web pages and make notes on them. That's such a waste of paper! I try to be as "green" as possible.
  • That's were diigo comes in. It allows you to make annotations directly on Web pages. It also helps you manage your bookmarks. You can make these public or you can keep them to yourself. It's a valuable tool! You'll need to sign up for an account. And you should try the toolbar for Firefox or Internet Explorer. There's a bit of a learning curve. But I think you'll find it worthwhile. diigo.com

Conventional sewage treatment plant - 0 views

  •
Conventional sewage treatment plant involves three stages, called primary, secondary and tertiary treatment. First, with conventional sewage treatment plant the solids are separated from the wastewater stream. Then dissolved biological matter is progressively converted into a solid mass by using indigenous, water-borne micro-organisms. Finally, the biological solids are neutralized then disposed of or re-used, and the treated water may be disinfected chemically or physically (for example by lagoons and microfiltration). The final effluent can be discharged into a stream, river, bay, lagoon or wetland, or it can be used for the irrigation of a golf course, green way or park. If it is sufficiently clean, it can also be used for groundwater recharge or agricultural purposes Pre-treatment Pre-treatment conventional sewage treatment plant removes the materials that can be easily collected from the raw wastewater and disposed of. The typical materials that are removed during pre treatment include fats, oils, and greases (also referred to as FOG), sand, gravels and rocks (also referred to as grit), larger settleable solids and floating materials (such as rags and flushed feminine hygiene products). Pre treatment also typically includes a sand or grit channel or chamber where the velocity of the incoming wastewater is carefully controlled to allow sand grit and stones to settle, while keeping the majority of the suspended organic material in the water column. Sand, grit, and stones need to be removed early in the process to avoid damage to pumps and other equipment in the remaining treatment stages.

Family Matters » » Diigo Blogging Tools - 2 views

  • If you’re one of the expanding list of genealogy bloggers, chances are good you frequently find things online you’d like to write about. In addition to copying the quote, you also need to grab the site’s name, article/page title and link. Diigo, my favorite online research tool, can help make this process a whole lot easier. Diigo’s “Blog This” function builds on its highlighting and annotation features to make it easy to capture information and incorporate it into a blog post. The feature works with WordPress, Blogger, LiveJournal, Typepad, Moveable Type, Windows Live Spaces and Drupal blog platforms. Here’s how it works . . . Setup The first step is to set up your blog so Diigo can access it. Log into Diigo then click on My Tools. Now click on Blog This in the left column. When that page appears, click on the +Add a new blog link. Enter the address of your blog in the URL field, then click Next. Now enter the username and password you use to to access your blog and click Add New Blog. Your blog should now appear on your Blog This page. You’re ready to start blogging. Blog This As you browse the web, you come across a tidbit you’d like to write about. Highlight the text you’d like to include in your post, right-click and choose Diigo > Blog This from the popup menu.
  • In the example shown here (configured for a WordPress blog), you can see in the left column that this post is going to my Family Matters blog as a draft in the News category. What you actually see will depend on what blog platform you are using. I may post a “quick and dirty” item directly from the Diigo editor, but generally I will send the highlighted text to my blog as a post and finish it off there. Either way, Diigo has made it easy for me to include web content in my posts - saving both time and effort.

  •
The classifieds business hugely relies on the best medium for reach. So it doesn't have a stable environment because peoples priority for gathering their needful information is kept on changing over the years. It started on newspapers, yet still, there is a column or entire page present for classifieds in newspapers but now it is more effective with mobile apps. So it is more towards sustainability according to the demand. https://appkodes.com/best-classified-script-reaches-online-ads/
