I'm currently learning more about eating disorders, a very popular topic about teens. I am listening to a podcast that talks about girls blogging on the internet and joining forums chatting with other people who are also trying to become thin. Just listening to the podcast makes me really wonder whats wrong with the girls and why they are torturing their bodies like that. The podcast read a girls blog that said, " i forgot to delete the history on my internet and my mom had saw what i had been on. Anaboot camp anorexic queen etc. Now shes watching me like a hawk. Im only on now because shes at the pub. It was my 100 calorie diet and i did fine until dinner. She shoved a white roll down my throat and a bunch of chicken . probably like 300 calories. Ugh, I can feel myself getting fatter. I need tips to get her off my back." It's crazy how girls take their physical image so seriously.I would understand, because I'm a girl also, but I would never starve myself like that ! I would skip dinner, but I would Never survive off drinking tea the whole day. That's just really harmful to your body.The podcasts talks about ways they can help these girls recover from anorexic by promoting pro-recovery sites. However, not all of the users who went on those blog, were females. There were also males. What i found most shocking was that there was even a 54 year old who blogged about their diet... The blogs are very interesting because the people talk about what they are going their and express their feelings for people on the internet to see. The most helpful way to prevent younger kids to going on these pro-anorexia sites, is to talk to them about it and teach them about the consequences...

I'm learning more about Anime and Japan right now, and in particular what I'm wondering about is what are some interesting events happening in Japan concerning Anime? I was researching this question online, and this blog caught my attention because McDonald's In Japan is getting an exclusive Tamagotchi Anime. I remember when I was little I bought a Tamagotchi. It was a cute little egg shaped device where you took care of a little pet. I'm really excited that Japan is getting a really cool Tamagotchi Anime it is something I would love to see. The blog states "The latest Tamagotchi! anime television series will premiere on Japanese TV on the 12th." I'm so excited for that I hope even though it is on Japanese TV I will be able to see it some how.

I was looking at the different blogs on google blog search and something had caught my eye. The title of the blog was called "New Leonardo Da Vinci painting found?". There reason this caught my eye was because Leonardo has been dead for hundreds of year, why is it that it took them this long to discover one of his paintings? Another interesting thing is that the price of the painting arose overnight from thousands of dollars to over one hundred and sixty million. Now that is a real shocker. Although it hasn't been one hundred percent confirmed that it is in fact Leonardo's paintings, however there is a very high chance. I hope to research more into this later on today. As of right now, there is not enough facts.

Q: What makes music so interesting? I'm learning more about Music right now, and in particular what I'm wondering about is: "What makes music so interesting?" I was researching this question online, and this blog post caught my attention because of the title. This blog post sparked my interest because it answere one of my questions. "Do you think it's possible that you might think you like certain bands only because your friends tell you they're awesome, not because you actually enjoy their music?" The quote i chose here is basically saying that you may only like the band because of your friends. You may not like the music, but because your friends enjoy them you believe you have to like them too. I think this is interesting because it makes me wonder if the bands that i like have anything to do with my friends. Do i like the groups because of my friends? Do i actually like their music? After reading this blog it makes me question the type of music that i listen too. Throughout the world. many people listen to music on a daily basis. People listen to it on their way to school and work, and coming back home. There are many ways to listen to music; through the inventions that have been made. These inventions have evolved over time starting with the radio to cd players to ipods. However, what makes music so interesting? What makes music so interesting? Is it there catchy tunes, their beats, rhythm. People like to listen to music that they like. People have many different preferences of music, which is why there are so many different types of music genre today. I'm learning more about Food Security right now, and in particular what I'm wondering about is: Is this a problem of politics or science? In other words can we right now "Young people have the advantage of having grown up in a globally connected world, within which we communicate more quickly and broadly than perhaps any other generation before us. Whilst young people may not yet have the power to drive policies, we will be the ones who must accept the big challenges of the future which are as yet unresolved: from population growth to climate change to market reform and the end of poverty."

"I am now in my twenties and my grandmother is still out there on her plot each day." This woman must be at least in her sixties, still doing this exhausting work.

I'm learning more about food security in Africa right now, and in particular what im wondering about is Why is food security such a big thing in Africa. i was researching this question online and this news article caught my attention because Mr.Allison myi english teacher pointed it out to me.\n\n"She continues to till her field with a hand hoe, using seed saved from previous harvests, and applying a teaspoonful of fertiliser per maize plant. Her working hours and type of inputs have remained the same over the years; however, the yields have been declining drastically."\n\nThe quote i chose here is basically saying that the girl who is mentioned in the quote works hard to plant her crops and take care of the crops to. Food security is important because she wants to be able to feed her family.\n\ni think this is interesting because It makes me wonder about how food security is in other places outside the United States.

I'm learning more about "personality" right now, and in particular what I'm wondering about is:"Why do I always feel so lonely?" and "Why do I always act so funny?" I was researching this question onine, and this blog "Borderline Personality Disorder and The Fake" caught my attention because the title attracted me and my problem is somewhat related to that title, so I think it should answer my questions. This sparked my interest because maybe I'm somewhat depressed and stressed these days so that I always think too much, which makes me want to explore more about people's inner psychology. My favorite quote in this blog is "the truth is, most people with this disorder are smart, and they can really be very funny." This quote I chose here is basically saying that people who cannot easily control their emotions actually always look funny and they are always very smart. I like this quote because I think it somewhat applies to my situation. I think this is cogent and it makes me wonder that if I am also that type of person. I always look very funny, and maybe most people think I'm smart, which isn't exactly true... but anyways, actually I'm also easy to feel lonely and I always feel that I have some sort of inner disorder or something like that, though I don't really show that on my face, so people cannot really tell. I just don't want people to think that the thing I'm annoyed with is very silly and insignificant. Yet I believe that most people always get angry at very little things, but sometimes things have different meanings to different people, so something may be insignificant to someone, but it may also be very paramount to another. Nevertheless, I have to admit that when I get annoyed with something or someone, I usually just pretend nothing has happened. And the same with things that frustrate me. I'm learning more about smoking right now, and in particular what I'm wondering about is: What are the effects of smoking on you? I was researching this question online, and this blog post caught my attention because of the title. In the blog post, it lists 5 reasons to stop smoking. It lists 5 effects of smoking on smokers. This quote from the post caught my attention: "Every smoker knows that smoking can cause cancer and heart disease. Other effects of smoking on mind and body are less well-publicised but can be equally disastrous." What this quote is saying is very true. When you ask a person what can happen to you when you smoke, they would be like cancer. But no, there are much more disasters to you and the body. This is very important.

I'm learning more about the multiple intelligences right now, and in particular what I'm wondering about is how did Howard Gardner come up with the multiple intelligences. I was researching this online, and this blog post caught my attention because it mentioned Howard Gardner and the multiple intelligences. The title also showed a preview of what the article is about. I read the blog post and didn't show what i want, however i did find this quote to be intriguing. I think this is informative because it makes me wonder how he figured this out without using really complex technology.

I am learning more about global warming right now, and in particular what I'm wonder about is what caused global warming? I was researching this question online, and this blog post caught my attention because it is about global warming and I know that emissions no longer cause global warming by reading this blog post. "According to the survey, roughly a third of the people who believe in global warming think it is due to natural causes, rather than manmade causes such as industrial emissions. As a result, the number who say that global warming is caused by humans has dropped from 54 percent last summer to 45 percent now." The quote I chose here is basically saying that global warming is causing by natural causes but I don't think so. I think people cause global warming too. They kill trees and pour waste water into ocean and rivers. I think this is impressed because it makes me wonder will the percentage of global warming and pollution be higher next year?

I think this is best because the conference it makes me wonder that the leadership of the world know the problem of this,so they just have a conference about the climate change,so they try to solve the climate problem,because it can be damage the world, so they try to decrease the pollution of the world ,some of their country cut the greenhouse gas emission, some of them cut the emission intensity. they do so hard to cut this,so i think it should have more conference like this, then they can make the world more better.

I'm learning more about global warming right now, and in particular what I'm wondering about is: How to stop global warming? Depletion of the Earth's Ozone layer has resulted in a large increase in Ultra Violet Radiation reaching the surface of the earth. Does this increase in UV rays equate to global warming? Not really. In fact most scientific opinion is that depletion of the Ozone layer results in cooling of both the stratosphere and troposphere. So why mention depletion of the Ozone layer as regards to global warming? Because it represents a needed balance between harmful radiation being allowed to reach the earth's surface and our desire to stem the rapid increase in our air and water temperature. Remember, we are viewing global warming as a chain of events." The quote I chose here is basically saying that people think the reduction of the Earth's Ozone layer is one cause of global warming. Ozone is a molecular form of Oxygen. The reduction of the Earth's Ozone layer resulted in an increase in Ultra Violet Radiation appearing on earth. I think global warming is a very important issue because global warming happens on earth and thats where we live. Global warming is not a positive issue but a negative one so I think we all should work together to find a solution to this problem if we want to save the place where we live on.

Im learning more about college basketball and basketball in general, and what i am particulary wondering about is how different was the sport then (in 1891) to now. I was reasearching this question online and this blog post caught my attension because it explains the history of the game. When the game was first created the basket was very different from the ones we have today, along with the basketball and some of the rules. Now everything is completly different but for the better. There are gyms, parks, rec centers a lot of different places all over the world where people can play the game for fun of try to actually make it a career. Before it was just something to do to get kids off the streets, now it has perks. Scholarships are given out, and many are getting paid millions of dollars to play the game. I think this is a perfect blog about the game then and now because a lot of people can really learn from this. It makes me wonder if people really know the complete history behind the sport even college and NBA players.

I'm learning more about dreams right now and in particular what I'm wondering about is why do we have nightmares. I was researching this question online and this blog post caught my attention because this blog has all the answers to my question. "Stress is another factor, which triggers nightmares. When a person is in extreme stress, he/she may get nightmares. In scientific terms, it is a way to release all the stress." The quote I chose here is basically saying that stress is one cause to having nightmares. And when you have the nightmare, its a way to get rid of all the stress you have. I think thats true because I remember me having a couple of nightmares before and what I was dreaming about was about what I was stressing about. I was very stressed about the SAT and I was dreaming about the SAT. It wasnt such a good dream.

I was researching this question online, and this blog post caught my attention because it actually focuses on two real, well-known, people. Obviously there is the need to be aware that this can be a difficult contact and they have had their fair share of psychic conflicts that can at times spill out into violence of some sort. Patrick has battled alcohol, cocain and a riding accident that almost left him paralyzed, and his final battle was the fight against Cancer." The quote I chose here is basically saying that because of their synastry the two celebrities blend well. Also, their personalities tend to make them work together more. I think this is great support in favor of my topic because it focuses on real people providing an accurate example. It makes me wonder if I'll find more articles like this. I hope so. I kind of want to change my question. I can't find enough news articles on the topic.

I'm learning more about the multiple intelligences right now, and in particular what I'm wondering about is: How this theory is applied in modern education? I was researching this question online, and this blog post caught my attention because it mentioned that schools did not use a variety of learning styles to teach. "...American schools still base their instruction primarily on the verbal-linguistic and logical-mathematical intelligences. As a result, many students who are not strong in these traditional intelligences develop poor attitudes toward school and their academic achievement suffers." Most schools today base their curriculum around only two of several intelligences. However, many students are more adept in using other methods to learn. This makes it harder for those students to excel, despite having the ability to if given the right school environment. I think this is true because I know a bunch of people who are extremely talented in a lot of areas. They know a lot, but, they have poor grades, mainly because they can not showcase their abilities properly. It makes me wonder if the school system will change in the future. Then, maybe it will be more fair.

I'm learning more about Multiple Intelligences right now, and in particular what I'm wondering about is: How are Multiple Intelligences used in school? I was researching this question online, and this blog post caught my attention because it answers my question directly. "traditional and nontraditional approaches should be combined to formulate a method of education that is best suited to the students who populate our classrooms. The multiple intelligences offer a balance which teaches students what they need to know in order to be successful in our society in a way that compliments the unique abilities that each individual possesses." The quote i chose here is basically saying that the authorities should change school so that they can combine two different intelligences together. By combining two intellgences it is easier for students who are not dominant in either logical, or linguistic intelligences. I think this is smart because many students dominant intelligences are not in linguistic, or logical. Instead it is in the intelligences schools do not incorporate into the curriculum. It makes me wonder if i would do better in school, if two intelligences were combined.

As I was searching for blogs about the 2012 Apocalypse, this site showed up. In this article, the Mayans are being blamed for "making the world end." There is no reason for the Mayans to be blamed for killing the human race and the world itself because all they did was prophesize and write down theories. In my opinion, don't hate one human race for killing the world that has already been to blame. At least this is what I am getting from the title itself.
