I just finish listening to this podcast from NPR and it was interesting. It was basically saying that sometimes people can dream about work. They can dream about their life at work. Martin said "Which is usually what I think when I wake from my dreams. If we're going be spending half of our day of work and two-thirds of the remaining day asleep, it would be nice to think dreaming about work would actually do us some good." I guess people do dream about life at work because people usually spend most of their day at work. I consider my work as a student. Its not really work because I dont get paid for what I do at school but I consider it a job for me because I do a lot of classwork, homework, projects and many more. What Im trying to say is that people dream about what happen recently to them. And for me, what happens recently at my day is school. I do remember dreaming many times about school. I dream about the test im going to have the next day, I dream about the homework I just did and if i did a good job on it. I also dream about my friends and teachers at my school. I like this NPR I just listened to.

i dont believe that scientist cannot slove the problem of poverty.

I'm currently learning more about eating disorders, a very popular topic about teens. I am listening to a podcast that talks about girls blogging on the internet and joining forums chatting with other people who are also trying to become thin. Just listening to the podcast makes me really wonder whats wrong with the girls and why they are torturing their bodies like that. The podcast read a girls blog that said, " i forgot to delete the history on my internet and my mom had saw what i had been on. Anaboot camp anorexic queen etc. Now shes watching me like a hawk. Im only on now because shes at the pub. It was my 100 calorie diet and i did fine until dinner. She shoved a white roll down my throat and a bunch of chicken . probably like 300 calories. Ugh, I can feel myself getting fatter. I need tips to get her off my back." It's crazy how girls take their physical image so seriously.I would understand, because I'm a girl also, but I would never starve myself like that ! I would skip dinner, but I would Never survive off drinking tea the whole day. That's just really harmful to your body.The podcasts talks about ways they can help these girls recover from anorexic by promoting pro-recovery sites. However, not all of the users who went on those blog, were females. There were also males. What i found most shocking was that there was even a 54 year old who blogged about their diet... The blogs are very interesting because the people talk about what they are going their and express their feelings for people on the internet to see. The most helpful way to prevent younger kids to going on these pro-anorexia sites, is to talk to them about it and teach them about the consequences...

What i noticed most about, "Diversions" was the way the game used to be back in the 50's and 60's when it came to the shoes they wore. This really stood out to me because the stars of the 50's and 60's wore flat little sandle like shoes with a little piece of rubber underneath for about 10-15 years, until sneakers were made. this is my favroite podcast of all. because i been playing this game for a week and yes indeed i agree is highly addictive. is way too good i cant get it off my mind. i cant really do my home work because i keep on playing this game however now i try to keep my balance between these games i try to be better at studying and playing the game at the same time hopefully i wont be one of those guys who play games all day well i mean i wont play games all day to turn into one of those because i know that plying mmorpg game is an orpg game and i play like crazy so hopefully i will stop playing because i do feel that i pay too much warcraft even though is jsut my forst week. is amazingly addictive and i regret buying the game because now i'm additected to the game hopefully i can be off the game soon well not completely off the game like remeber to play and study but not to remind myself to play everyday. is a great game im a current warlock who kills moster who are higher than my level. i soon have to take math b in jan and i need to start study soon so im goign to be studying and playing at the same time i though that this is a way to improve myself to be a better person and move foward because i know that i have to learn more knowledge each day in order to be a better human being i'm going to try and learn more everyday along with balanceing the games in so mixture of both would be a great combnation studying while playing games. thank you for looking at my thing because this is probally the one podcast that i like the most and it made me reliaard how hard i fell into teh game on the first week.

I'm learning more about dreams right now. I was researching about dreams online and this podcast caught my attention because of the title. It had nightmare in it and nightmares are a type of dream. In the podcast it said "Another listener, Scott Guffy(ph), just wishes he could dream at all. I'd be happy to have nightmares, he wrote. I have no sensation of dreaming at all. I shut my eyes at night and, suddenly its morning. I don't think that's normal." The quote I chose here is basically saying that this guy, Scott can't dream at all. In the podcast, it says that, that have been happening to him for 20 years now. Well it doesnt mention how old he is but if hes older than 20, then Im thinking something happened to him that disabled him from dreaming. This is interesting. I never heard that some people cant dream. I would like to research more about this. I thank the podcaster for this podcast.

My current inquiry question is about the legendary sea monster named Lochness. This podcast that I'm listening right now is about a discovery of an ancient long-necked creature named Dinosuffulosaurus,that inhabited the seats of what is now southeast China. The physical features of this creature looks strikingly similar to that of Loch Ness. The interviewer describes this creature as," Imagine an egg, a little bit squashed that is about 3 feet long. And on the front end of that, stick a neck that is about 5 feet long and about 3 inches in diameter. On the end of that put a head that is about 5 inches long. It's a very elongated neck head relative to the size of the body. The back end would've been a tail too but we don't know how big that was because it's not on this fossil." He had also compared the creatures neck to a Giraffes, however it's neck is more slender and long. He comes from a family of the Plesiosaur. What's most interesting is that the creature is not a dinosaur and is often mistakened as on. It is actually a marine reptile. They go on talking about the reptile's neck and what it's use was for. Unlike other reptiles/dinosaurs that possessed a long neck, Dinosuffollosaurus' neck was stiff. They say that reason for its long neck was to deceive their preys to think that they weren't as big as they were until it was too late. Interesting post on the zombie phenomenon

This podcast was very interesting to listen to. It deals with the grossing effect of extreme horror as it explores how people love to watch films like these. It brings the question who are the REAL crazy people in this world? David Poland, a film critic says that after watching Hostel II, he felt that, "I think that we've crossed some sort of line." The special effects and improvements in film today have created horror to a whole new level with new genres. However many horror film directors have different views.
