    I'm learning more about food security right now and in particular what I'm wondering about is Is there a food problem in Queens? I was researching this question online, and this news post caught my attention because it mentioned exactly what i wanted to know.\n\n\n"Queens sees huge surge in demand for emergency meals and food." "Queens has seen a whopping 106% sspike in the number of emergency mealss provided to hungry residents in the past two years."\n\nThe quote i chose here is basically saying that there has been a huge jump in the number of emergency food distributed to the people. Amny people are in a food crisis, and is worried about what they are going to eat in days to come. \n\nI think this is not good because what will happen when there are no emergencey food rations left then what will happen to the people? I believe New York State should do something about this before it gets worse than it is.

    I'm learning more about food security right now, and in particular what I'm wondering about is: Why is there food security? I was researching this question online and this news item caught my attention because it talks about the reasons why there are food shortages. "The effects of climate change are exacerbating an already vulnerable food supply in Africa, leaving farmers less capable of providing for themselves alone. let alone their communities." The quote i chose here is basically saying that due to global warming, and recent climate changes, crops are not growing as well as they could. As the heat, and cold gets worse plants will not be able to survive. I think this is will not be good for the economy because without farmers being able to grow crops, that means less food for the humanity. It makes me wonder how much longer, it will take before food runs out, and people starve to death. Will the scientists figure out a way for more heat-resistant plants?

Despite their weaknesses, however, students who are given the opportunity to succeed using an intelligence in which they can excel demonstrate that they are capable of developing their verbal-linguistic and logical-mathematical intelligences.

    I'm learning more about Multiple Intelligences right now, and in particular what I'm wondering about is: How are Multiple Intelligences used in school? I was researching this question online, and this blog post caught my attention because it answers my question directly. "traditional and nontraditional approaches should be combined to formulate a method of education that is best suited to the students who populate our classrooms. The multiple intelligences offer a balance which teaches students what they need to know in order to be successful in our society in a way that compliments the unique abilities that each individual possesses." The quote i chose here is basically saying that the authorities should change school so that they can combine two different intelligences together. By combining two intellgences it is easier for students who are not dominant in either logical, or linguistic intelligences. I think this is smart because many students dominant intelligences are not in linguistic, or logical. Instead it is in the intelligences schools do not incorporate into the curriculum. It makes me wonder if i would do better in school, if two intelligences were combined.

    What i noticed most about, "Searching for the Main Street Pimp" http://www.mappingmainstreet.org/#route=8818_6367_1&city=8818&image=6365&nav=pathview>," was after reading the title realizing that I haven't seen the main street pimp in a while. I would always see him walking around, but then i forgot about him. When the podcaster said,"We haven't seen him in about a year" I was wondering where he was and what he was doing. No one had seen him for a while, no one knew his whereabouts, so i thought that was weird. He might be dead i thought, or in another area. Another part that I heard was: "I don't like him, he's a pimp" This stood out for me because he wasn't really a pimp he just walked around with flashy clothes that does not meant that you are a pimp. I don't agreev that you should judge people by how they dress. One reason i say this is because they may dress/ act a certain way because of something that happened to them, just like the Main Street Pimp. People called him a pimp without knowing why he dressed that way. Thank you for working so hard to find out the whereabouts of the Main Street Pimp. It is sad to find out that he has passed away. I hope to hera more podcasts from you.

    Q: What makes music so interesting? I'm learning more about Music right now, and in particular what I'm wondering about is: "What makes music so interesting?" I was researching this question online, and this blog post caught my attention because of the title. This blog post sparked my interest because it answere one of my questions. "Do you think it's possible that you might think you like certain bands only because your friends tell you they're awesome, not because you actually enjoy their music?" The quote i chose here is basically saying that you may only like the band because of your friends. You may not like the music, but because your friends enjoy them you believe you have to like them too. I think this is interesting because it makes me wonder if the bands that i like have anything to do with my friends. Do i like the groups because of my friends? Do i actually like their music? After reading this blog it makes me question the type of music that i listen too. Throughout the world. many people listen to music on a daily basis. People listen to it on their way to school and work, and coming back home. There are many ways to listen to music; through the inventions that have been made. These inventions have evolved over time starting with the radio to cd players to ipods. However, what makes music so interesting? What makes music so interesting? Is it there catchy tunes, their beats, rhythm. People like to listen to music that they like. People have many different preferences of music, which is why there are so many different types of music genre today. Music ranges from jazz to pop, R&B to hip-hop, classical to rock etc. Each genre of music has their own rhythm and tunes, which sets it apart from other pieces of music. Not only has music players evolved so has music itself. One mmusician may have a stlye of music which he/she changed around a little, and a different singer may have taken ta\hat style and
