This journal discusses the use of inappropriate terms and derogatory terms in popular television. It discusses whether or not the content ratings presented were or were not affective in decreasing the amount of offensive language used in prime time television. It presents a study of one week of television in three separate years in a seven year span. It also addresses the per hour percentage of offensive terms or actions from each station examined.

the only thing i really found usefull here is a single excert explaining how the better cocial terms one is on with their classmates, the better they usually do academically. I thoguht i could potentially corelate this into terms of how close knit you are with your friends the better you do in school, but im still working on it. not sure if i can use but someone might be able to.

This article focuses on the financial education of American consumers. The researchers have labeled Americans as having excess debt, poor retirement planning and insufficient savings. They believe one answer to the financial problems facing Americans has to do with the amount of financial information available. In some cases credit cards provide too much information and technical terms which may confuse the consumer. On the other hand when there is too little information the consumer may not be able to make proper choices.

With these in mind they conduct a study that entail the negative and positive effects of marijuana.
