    Emphasis can be used in many ways other then writing. The concept is the same just a different median. I chose to use this webpage as a bookmark because it shows emphasis in body language. These are techniques used by the body to exaggerate or use movements to create a focal point.

    I really liked how this website kept it simple yet helpful by adding the examples to the right of the definition. I got to see exactly what they were talking about. Which to me, as a visual learner, I understood more.

    I think this is an example of emphasis because it's super easy to read, very organized and each step is the same font size, color and evenly next to each other. The title "easy canvas prints" - "easy" is emphasized, as it should be, to a different background color and scripted font.

    This seems like an example of emphasis because of the big writing and promoting, it's bright and easy to read. Everything is also centered and has a bunch of "alluring" images.

    These ads are good examples of the emphasis and visual hierarchy we were talking about. In most of the ads there is a prominent text, which your eye is drawn to first, followed by smaller text, or images, that you look to next. This helps get your attention first, and then you read the rest of the ad, just like they hoped you would.

Also, it tells you what not to say... not just what you should say so that you can see both sides of the situation. This will help with Project #1 because it shows you what you shouldnt put so that your reader doesnt get confused!
