This project will help with Project #1 by informing me on how to write instructions for the tutorial. This article describes technical writing and its structure. It will assist me in writing a clear and precise tutorial for the project.

Draft for Project #1.

This website offers suggestions made by actual students on "surviving" and "thriving" in a group project environment. One student reiterates Team Writing by suggesting the use of a team charter. A "kick-out" clause is included here, which clear states the consequences if someone does not attend meetings or does his or her work. Other students bring up being open-minded about criticism from other team members and listening to their advice. However, this site recommends assigning roles based on the members' strengths, not on what they would like to learn. I suppose it depends on the deadline and complexity of the project.

D#7 HW#5 Team Writing Chapter 1&2 Article gives good suggestions about working on a college group project

This site seems to helpful towards project #1 because it gives different website links for examples. It covers main points on remembering the audience and being consistent. It also covers a little bit of incorporating diagrams and illustrations which I will be using on project #1.

This website gives clear views on the best way to write instructions.This will help with project 1 because it tells me the best way to give instructions without having the people look away before reading it all.

This stuff is really hard for me to understand. This is a definition to help if others are struggling.

This website gives an explanation about remediation and new media.  It also gives an explanation of how remediation is defined by predecessors like the television, radio and or old media like journals.  Media can interact with other kind of media by reproducing and replacing and making other changes.

I like how this article explains what remediation is and new media. This article talks about the double logic of remediation which are the process of remediation, remediation and reality, redmediation as reform.

Good tips for instructional writing with clarity and focus on the reader's point of view. Except that it's homework #4, not #5.

D#2 HW #8 This website focuses on how to write for the internet. It has an entire section on how to write instructions for websites. This will benefit me and others in Project 1 because the examples are all geared towards intruction on websites therefore they will be easy to apply directly.

Project 1

This is a useful site which tells me about the security of this site. This is the reason why I use fake name for many of these programs and release very little personal information. Several of the other sites talk about upgrades of this program with plugins. This site advises against it and how to set up stronger passwords and not to link personal MySQL server to connect remotely if working on a project with another computer. So updated security is essential and avoiding 3rd party plugins can be important.

D#1, HW#13 I really enjoyed this website for a couple different reasons. First of all, the design process is similar to that in the book, but yet it has a different approach because it is for an architectural piece, instead of a web site or banner for example. I also enjoyed it because it is not only a list of the concepts for the designer process, but it is also the steps that this particular architectural design teams uses and wants to share with their customers. This shows those customers that they have a structured plan and as a customer you can know where you are in the time line of your design and build process. Although the design process is not exactly the same as the book, it uses the same concepts from beginning with a blank page and sketching out ideas, to ending with details helping to make the project personal to the audience.

The purpose of project 1 is to design a comic tutorial about a web base networking site. Business writing will help communicate the purpose and goal of the document to your readers. This article will assist me in writing clear, organized, strategic instructions on how to use the networking site. This is my favorite article.

This not only shows how to write directions but is specifically for technical communications. 

This will be very helpful with project 1 because not only does it tell you how to write instructions, it also is specifically for technical communications, which will be needed in project 1.

Not all of this website had to do with what we read about in Part 1. However, what I found important was that it mentioned the importance of a project manager.It also discussed that meetings were important and presented different ways of non-verbal communication with our team such as emails.
