A great resource from the NY Philharmonic. Being able to see the notes that all the great conductors have made on the scores, and embrace the history of this orchestra has been a lot of fun. Also helps a lot with score study and analysis of some of the major works for orchestra.

This is the Digital Archives from the New York Philharmonic. This has copies of past programs as well as digital copies of scores owned by the Phil. The scores also have the markings from the past conductors of the Phil.

Many people avoid the LoC like it is the black plague.  However, even though it seems like it would be boring and stiff, they have many amazing resources and their digital catalogue is growing by leaps and bounds every day!  Additionally, if you cannot find something fully digitized and you believe the the LoC has it somewhere, just ask a librarian and they will be more than happy to help!

This book is a music education wiki focusing on music education with digital technology. Information in this book unfolds how teachers use technology in music classrooms, the pros and cons of technology, and how to effectively use technology in the classroom. One fascinating information I picked from this book is the use of classroom mobile phones. Almost every student in high school has access to a mobile phone. These mobile phones have a new software called "blue tooth" which enables one to share a file from a phone to a computer or to another person's phone. This tool can be utilised in class during composition, for students to share their compositions and get feedback from each other. These compositions can then be sent to a computer and students edit their compositions using soft wares like Audacity.

Audiotool is a wonderful resource that allows the modern musician to have an old-school audio studio at their fingertips. It even includes digital representations of classic synthesizers, as well as a number of tracks to use in mixing one's own creation. It can also be used with a MIDI keyboard. It might prove useful for contemporary, "other 80%"-style music courses.

This website is the Digital Concert Hall of the Berlin Philharmonic. it provides a subscription service to watch live concerts as well as a series of archived concerts by the Phil. The website also provides some free videos for streaming.

I love this site because you can now get digital copies of the music and use it with iPad programs like FourScore to play off of in concerts.
