0 July 2013 Last updated at 08:52 GMT Help 3D printing has been around for some time but now the technology is available for the same price as a top-end TV at shops. 3D printing has been hailed as the future of manufacturing. The technology works by building up layer upon layer of material - typically plastic - to build complex solid objects. The idea is that as the printers become cheaper, instead of buying goods from shops, consumers will instead be able to download designs and print out the items at home. Technology Correspondent Rory Cellan-Jones has been finding out what 3D print stores offer

Non si tratta di video disinteressati: sono un lungo spot commerciale sull'uso del Notebook di Windows "One Note". Con magnifici software, per carità... ma molto, molto proprietari. Microsoft, insomma. Quindi se siete dei patiti della ditta, potete sorbirvi i 45 minuti di spot con dimostrazione dei (raffinati, in verità) software, altrimenti lasciate perdere... Tanto più che per vedere i video suddetti, dovete lasciare un sacco di vostre informazioni e fare un questionario finale (sono proprio fissati con i badge, questi statunitensi!)

Salman Khan parla molto in fretta, purtroppo, ma la sua storia è molto interessante. La Khan Academy funziona veramente. Circa 200 video sono stati tradotti anche in italiano e hanno aiutato mia figlia a superare più di un ostacolo in matematica. Li consiglio senz'altro! Un aspetto molto interessante di questo video consiste nella chiarissima spiegazione di cosa sia la "flipped classroom".
