The Word Cloud feature enables you to use Word Banks or selected text to create and display word lists or "clouds" for use when writing, filling in worksheets, or taking tests. Students can use these as prompts or to have key vocabulary words at the ready when writing an essay on a specific topic. Teachers can use this feature for fill in the blank vocabulary worksheets or use to instruct students to use particular vocabulary words when writiing an essay.

Educators and parents struggle to find appropriate apps to use for students with special needs. The purpose of this course is to assist in determining what app features to look for when selecting apps. This course explores how to select apps based on learning traits and styles of students, appropriate uses in education, App features to consider, and how this information can be utilized to select more appropriate apps for students with special needs.

Student's strength/preference is to provide verbal responses. Student might answer questions using her/his voice. Student outlines thoughts for an essay by recording voice notes in each cell of a graphic organizing template and then goes back to type in what was recorded. Teachers could use this feature to provide audio feedback. Teacher could use this feature to provide instructions, hints, reminders, or other comments to students.
