I believe that it is a good site because it goes into IQ test and how they work on children. How This Influenced My Thinking: It made me realize that children are more complex in their intelligence than I thought them to be. How this influenced my thinking: I always knew children who are overweight are more likely to be made fun of, but i was surprised at how obesity has doubled in children over the past 20 years. It compares the obesity percentage of today's children with those of twenty years ago. It also gives a brief summary of how to deal with children who have obesity, and even includes a meal plan. How this influenced my thinking: This site influenced my thinking in the fact that I always thought that putting an obese child on a diet was the best solution, but this site mentions that one must not completely change their diets because they do need foods from different groups because they need it to grow. Credibility: This website seems credible since its from the government.

How it influenced my thinking: This article made me more aware of the risk factors that children face when over weight. Credibility: Very. Author: No author Date published: No date Why relevant and summary: Allstride is an online community and website, started by a friend of mine, that gives families the tools they need to live healthier lifestyles. With dedicated nutritional and fitness experts, this website is a great place to start for parents of overweight children, who are looking for fun, simple ways to make the lifestyle changes necessary for healthy living and losing weight. How this influenced my thinking: I am disheartened when I see families with obese parents and children in the grocery store with carts full of frozen meals and processed junk foods. I wish there was a way to reach out and educate them about what they are putting in their bodies and how what they consume, coupled with minimal physical activity, is putting them at a huge risk of heart disease, cancer, and a plethora of other health complications. Allstride is a great website to direct parents who are ready to start living a healthier lifestyle as a family.

This site goes into detail of the different parenting styles and gives background examples of child qualities and parenting styles. How This influenced my thinking: This site definitely gave me more insight on the parenting styles Credibility of Source: This site seems credible its from developmental psychology.org

This is relevant because it touches upon theory of mind (subtly) and connects it with autism. How This Influenced My Thinking: This video was powerful to me because Steve was able to express his perspective on the world even though he says he does not understand other people's perspectives… I really liked the way he described it.
