Earlier it was reported that the channel is not getting good TRPs from the show and now it is said that its actors are quitting the show.Puja Banerjee who portrays the role of Lord Parvati is said to have quit the show owning some health issues. Interestingly, Puja was featured in the show after replacing popular actress Sonarika Bhadoria. She played the character for four months only. But unlike Sonarika, who was shown the door citing some payment issues, the actress herself has decided to quit the show.According to the close sources of the actress it is get to know that Puja couldn’t manage to overcome from her health issues and dedicate her time to the show. “Puja has been complaining about health issues for some time. The schedule is physically exhausting for her. She conveyed the problem to the production house and they released her. Her notice period ends in January, next year. The channel tried its best to convince her, but in vain,” sources said.Now, the team of Devon Ke Dev Mahadev is looking for the replacement of Puja Banerjee. Academy Award winning Bosnian filmmaker Danis Tavonic is not happy that The Good Road has been chosen over The Lunchbox as the representative to compete for the Oscar in the best foreign language film category this year. He claims that he didn’t say this because he has co-produced The Lunchbox, starring Irrfan Khan as lead. For the uninitiated, the Film Federation of India (FFI) chose The Good Road, a Gujarati travel drama, over Ritesh Batra’s The Lunchbox, as they felt that the former movie reflects an India that our movies usually don't showcase. "You had a chance and you don't have it anymore," Tanovic said, adding: "If I could give my place to The Lunchbox, I would give it." Tavonic is unhappy that The Lunchbox didn’t get the chance. "It's still stuck in my throat - the decision... If you ought to win an Oscar, then you put the better horse in the race. The best horse was The Lunchbox," Tanovic said at the ongoing Abu Dhabi Film Festival (ADFF). "They should know it from Lagaan. Lagaan was the last Indian film in the Oscar shortlist and it had the backing of Sony Pictures Classics, due to which they managed it. I spoke to somebody in India and asked them, 'Why did you send The Good Road? The person responded - 'It is a good film'." "It's not a question of a good film. It's about whether you really want to win an Oscar, or do you want to send a film which you think is great," said Tanovic. Guess everyone has an opinion on this subject!

Everybody is talking about the latest controversy held in Bigg Boss 7 house between Tanisha Mukherjee and Kushal Tandon. Being a host of the show, Salman Khan took the charge to speak on the matter but what comes out from his mouth had surprised on and all. Last year on his birthday, Kamal Haasan released the trailer of Vishwaroopam in Auro 3D surround sound, and this year, it is expected that he is planning to treat his fans by releasing Vishwaroopam 2 trailer on his birthday, November 7."He has been thinking about releasing the trailer of the sequel on his birthday. It was supposed to be released earlier, but there was some more editing to be made. He is yet to confirm if he will indeed release it on his birthday," a source from the film's unit said. For those unaware, the second installment of Vishwaroopam is also a Tamil-Hindi bilingual spy-thriller, which is written and directed by Kamal Haasan, who also plays the role of Major Wisam Ahmad Kashmiri. It also stars Rahul Bose, Pooja Kumar, Shekhar Kapur and Andrea Jeremiah, and has been mostly shot in India. In the movie, yesteryears actress Waheeda Rehman will be seen playing Kamal's mother. The film has been produced by Venu Ravichandran. You must know that earlier this year, when Vishwaroopam released, it faced several setbacks, and despite that it went on to mint Rs.100 crore at the box-office.We hope Haasan attains success with second installment as well!

The court case over the redevelopment rights of a Pali Hill bungalow, where Dilip Kumar has been residence for many years, has weighing again on him. It is known that Samir Bhojwani dragged Dilip Kumar to court in 2010. She objected, claiming ownership of the plot. He said the bungalow property was leased to the actor for 999 years, but with the caveat that the lessee would not alter or demolish the structure without the owner's consent. The land, estimated to be worth Rs 150 crore, housed a two storey bungalow, where Dilip Kumar, lived since 1953.According to the friends and relatives of Dilip Kumar, the actor is constantly thinking about the bungalow these days. Currently, the 90-year-old star of Bollywood classics like Mughal-e-Azam, Ganga Jamuna, Shakti and Karma lives in the same locality but at his wife Saira Banu's house next to Sanjay Dutt's residence. A source close to Dilip and Saira Bano, “While we try to keep bad news from him, including the deaths of some of his old colleagues, there is one thing which we cannot bypass, the dispute over the bungalow. His questions on the bungalow under litigation had increased by the day.”The actor was hospitalised last month after a heart scare and the dispute, which is still in court, is having a telling effect on the thespian's health. “We don't rule out that this stress might have played a role in Dilip Kumar getting the heart attack in mid-September, which landed him in the ICU for 10 days. What is amusing to Dilip Kumar and his family is that Samir Bhojwani is very cordial to them and even sent flowers and gifts on Dilip saab's birthday. "Whenever we tell him that we ought to resolve this as Dilip Kumar's health is failing, he says, Haan kar denge. But no stone is moved by him thereafter,” added sources.Saira Banu, about the matter said, “The bungalow dispute is wearing down Yusuf saab. It has affected his health and it has now started to affect my health too.”

Elli Avram, the actress and model of Swedish-Greek origin, who has been eliminated from the Bigg Boss - Saath 7 house can't hide her gratitude for the warmth that the reality show's host and Bollywood star Salman Khan's extended to her during the show."I don't know why he was so nice to me. He is a big superstar. And his kindness meant a lot to me. I think he sensed that I was all alone in Bigg Boss house. The only foreigner. He helped me feel comfortable in Bigg Boss by just the way he spoke to me. Of course, I soon became comfortable in there. I've learnt a lot of Hindi in there," said Elli, who was evicted on Saturday.Elli comes out from Bigg Boss with a good feeling about most of the inmates. B-town beauty Lara Dutta, who is currently away from Bollywood, so that she could focus on raising her child, is set to put forth her designing skills as she will soon launch her own sari collection. She says that designing is her new baby."I have done films for 10 years. This is something new that I have forayed into; so it's my new baby. I am excited about the response from the customers," said Lara, who was in Delhi to launch her second sari range in association with Chhabra 555. Married to tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi, Dutta, 35, started designing last year, and it was then she created a whole line of saris. "The second collection is far more traditional. Personally I am a big fan of Benarasi saris and many other old-age fabrics; so I wanted to make those weaves younger and contemporary. Normally, we associate Benarasi saris with our aunts and our mothers, but I wanted to give it a younger and trendy feel," she said. Even though she is seen less on silver screen nowadays, Lara has no qualms. "I think each thing has its own space in life. I enjoyed being busy. My priority is my daughter. That will always be my number one priority. Now she is getting older, so I am getting more time to celebrate and concentrate on my own work; so here I am promoting the brand as much as possible," she said. Wish you luck!

''So we were thinking about what should be done and Saif said that he will go to Bombay and I was like no. I wanted to meet him, and I'm very ziddi and I was like milna hai milna hai milna hai... However, when he was quizzed about his real-life heroes, he named out Nelson Mandela, Indira Gandhi and Mahatma Gandhi.Niro, 70, is presently in Goa, India, where he will be participating at the ongoing THiNK Fest 2013. Sharing his thoughts, he said, "I have many real life heroes as my inspiration. Mandela, Peres, James Dean, Marlon Brando and from India... Indira Gandhi and Mahatma Gandhi. They are strong people with a big heart," De Niro said on the sidelines of the festival. "I try to be more empathetic towards my characters. I try to understand its position by putting myself in their shoes. I feel I am lucky to get into these lives without having to pay a real price," he added. When confessed that he doesn’t remember his early film days, he said, "I really don't remember..." He also said that he has no idea why he wanted to be in cinema and he started his career at the age of 16. "I dropped out of school and enrolled in Stella Adler's acting school, to the surprise of my friends and family. When she (Stella) asked me why I joined this profession, I didn't have an answer. She answered on my behalf that since I wanted to express myself so I chose this profession. I nodded and repeated the same line," he said. Speaking of Indian trip, he added, "Indian people are very nice. I came here 35 years ago and promised that I will be back in couple of years. I got busy and even tried to come last year. It is unfortunate it couldn't happen. I don't know why things did not work out. I think there is a prejudice against TV actors. I was working on TV, and if I was considered for it is a big thing.”Happy New Year, a story which revolves around a bunch of male friends and how situation forces them to participate in a dance competition, is being directed by Farah Khan. The female lead will apparently play the role of a bar dancer, who will help these friends win the dance trophy. It also features Abhishek Bachchan and Boman Irani in prominent roles. It will also mark Naseeruddin Shah’s son Vivaan Shah’s debut.

Gori Tere Pyaar Mein actor Imran Khan says he has had the best time working in the movie, and it was one of the most entertaining work experiences that he has had till date. "For me this is the most fun film. What makes it special is the chemistry and interaction between me and Kareena Kapoor Khan. That is what makes the film stand up," said Imran."Kareena and I have good chemistry. I think we look good together. Part of the reason is because inherently we understand each other as actors," said Imran, who was in London with his leading lady Kareena. The film has been helmed by Punit Malhotra, and produced by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions.The actor said that the film has the target audience in younger couples and the family audience. "Karan likes his films to reach out across the audiences and he likes to make his films family friendly. You can watch it with your parents and parents can take their kids to watch it," he said.He also added that it was picturised in many locations. "The first half is primarily shot in Bangalore where the romance begins. The second half was shot outside Bhuj in Gujarat, then Wai outside Pune in Maharashtra and then in Filmcity. It was a difficult film to shoot. We were shooting outdoors in the peak of summer in May and June - it was over 45 degrees every single day."The film comes out on November 22!

It was in 2010 that Martin accepted being a gay, and claimed that it would be wonderful if he can successfully do that again.Martin, 41, said that he was really scared about the feedback of his peers. "I was terrified. I had to really work on my self esteem to understand that it`s all about self love, and other people`s opinions weren`t what was important," Martin wrote to a fan during a Facebook chat."What was important was accepting myself exactly as I am, as I was born. I insist, it wasn`t easy, but wow, I wish I could come out again because it felt like I could `high five` God`," he added. For those unaware, the singer has twins Matteo and Valentino via surrogacy. Earlier, the Livin` la Vida Loca hitmaker had also revealed that he used to bully those people who were gay. "I look back now and realise I would bully people who I knew were gay.
