Bollywood is reeling with shock over the fallout between actor Sushant Singh Rajput filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor. It has been buzzing that former has refused to do latter’s film citing his date issues. Sushant was launched by Abhishek amidst full fanfare in commercially successful film Kai Po Che. The actor, later, went ahead to sign two major films, Shuddh Desi Romance (released with descent reviews) and Peekay (Aamir Khan’s ambitious project likely to release in next year).However, it is reported that Sushant has snubbed Abhishek, his mentor, for other projects. “Sushant stabbed his mentor by giving Aditya Chopra preference over him. And, even as we write, details of this guru-shishya estrangement are still tumbling out, said gossipmongers.A close friend of Abhishek said, “Abhishek was shocked when he heard that he would have to wait in queue for Sushant's dates. Gattu's ego was also hurt because he would have to deal with Sushant's management team (who work under Adi) for all things related to the boy who he had given a break.”Well, this is not the first time when actors broke out with their godfathers immediately after their debut. It’s widely reported that Shraddha Kapoor, who made her debut as a leading lady with Aditya Chopra's Luv Ka The End (in her acting debut, Teen Patti, she was one of the many newcomers), was shown the door by him after she signed Aashiqui 2.Model-turned-actress Puja Gupta fell out with producer Vashu Bhagnani after F.A.L.T.U. Elli Avram, the actress and model of Swedish-Greek origin, who has been eliminated from the Bigg Boss - Saath 7 house can't hide her gratitude for the warmth that the reality show's host and Bollywood star Salman Khan's extended to her during the show."I don't know why he was so nice to me. He is a big superstar. And his kindness meant a lot to me. I think he sensed that I was all alone in Bigg Boss house. The only foreigner. He helped me feel comfortable in Bigg Boss by just the way he spoke to me. Of course, I soon became comfortable in there. I've learnt a lot of Hindi in there," said Elli, who was evicted on Saturday.Elli comes out from Bigg Boss with a good feeling about most of the inmates. "My friends say, I find everyone to be good and likeable. But I can't help it. I don't have unkind thoughts about anyone inside the Bigg Boss house. Yes, there were stressful moments and ugly scenes with some of them. But it was soon okay," she added.Elli wants to connect with her friends Hazel Keech and Ratan Rajput whom she bonded with good friendship during the show.

Post the successful launch of beau Sushant Singh Rajput, telly actress Ankita Lokhande was also looking to make debut in Bollywood. Her dream was even about to accomplish but she missed the chance. Ankita informs that she was offered Shahrukh Khan starrer upcoming film Happy New Year but things couldn’t happen in her favour. The role is now being played Deepika Padukone.Ankita, currently seen playing double role in Zee TV’s long running show Pavitra Rishta, says, “I was considered for this role, so it is a good thing. It is unfortunate it couldn't happen. I don't know why things did not work out. I think there is a prejudice against TV actors. I was working on TV, and if I was considered for it is a big thing.”Happy New Year, a story which revolves around a bunch of male friends and how situation forces them to participate in a dance competition, is being directed by Farah Khan. The female lead will apparently play the role of a bar dancer, who will help these friends win the dance trophy. It also features Abhishek Bachchan and Boman Irani in prominent roles. It will also mark Naseeruddin Shah’s son Vivaan Shah’s debut.

After the failure of his directorial debut Aryan, filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor made successful comeback in direction with the release of Rock On!, with which Farhan Akhtar also made his acting-singing debut. The film was produced by Farhan and Ritesh Sidhwani’s production company Excel Entertainment.

Actor and anchor Karan Wahi is a busy man nowadays as he has been juggling with juggling between shooting for his upcoming film and hosting the reality show Nach Baliye 6. After that, for some reason, I haven't been able to make a trip to the city in which I could go around and explore various places. In between, I had come for a day to play a match at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in the city." In his debut TV show Remix, Karan played a boy from Rajasthan, which was very much evident in his dialogues as well. "My first role was that of a Rajput boy. But at that time, I didn't have to do much research on that character. The channel and the production house had done the research and told me how to portray it.
