Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor and veteran actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu starrer Besharam has slipped at the box-office despite a good opening. Directed by Abhinav Singh Kashyup, the film was released on October 2 over 3600 screens across the India and 700 screens overseas. Trade experts say that the movie had a good opening, but couldn’t retain the footfalls on the subsequent days.Not only critics disliked the film, but audience was not too impressed with the movie and given feedback that with Besharam, Ranbir sinks to a low. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh termed the collection of the film at box office an epic disappointment. He Tweeted, “Besharam (earned) Wednesday Rs.21.56 crore, Thursday Rs.7.13 crore, Friday Rs.5.68 crore, Saturday Rs.5.94 crore. Total is Rs.40.31 crore net. Epic disappointment!”He updated, “Besharam collects 47.31 net in its 5-day opening weekend [Wed to Sun]: Wednesday 21.56 crore, Thursday 7.13 crore, Friday 5.68 crore, Saturday 5.94 crore, Sunday 7 crore.” Also starring newcomer Pallavi Sharda, Besharam was made at a budget of Rs.60 crore in addition to the cost of promotions, marketing and advertising. “First day was good, but second day onwards the performance of the film has drastically dropped. Even on weekend, I don’t see any improvement,” Puneet Sahay of Spice Cinemas said.It is co-produced by Himanshu Mehra, Sanjeev Gupta and Reliance Entertainment.

A week ago, contestant Kushal Tandon created some unavoidable hullabaloos that lead him out of the Bigg Boss 7 house. But, citing his unfair exit (believed by a big percentage of BB followers), it was supposed that Kushal will make re-entry on the show. However, viewers haven’t got to see him back till date.Now, if sources to believed, Kushal will enter the house tonight and will probably be seen in tomorrow's episode. However, with Candy Brar's eviction last Saturday, the whole funda behind Candy's entry in Bigg Boss house went in vain. For the unawares, Candy, who is Kushal’s ex-girlfriend, was invited in the house to create a rift between Kushal and Gauhar Khan (who was seen getting close to Kushal on the show) but unfortunately Kushal was asked to leave the house last week, thus Candy's presence in the house created no drama.The present contestants on the house are, Gauhar Khan, Tanisha Mukheji, Armaan Kohli, Endy, Kamya Punjabi, Pratyusha Banerjee, Sangram Singh, Ajaz Khan and Sofia Hayat.

Least people know that Gang of Wasseypur fame, Huma Qureshi, is a big fan of bollywood superstar Salman Khan. She admires the Dabangg actor ardently and recently gets the chance to meet him on the sets of Bigg Boss 7. The beautiful actress, along with Madhuri Dixit, visited the TV reality show for the promotions of their upcoming film Dedh Ishqiya.It was weekend ka wow episode and Salman Khan introduced the two beautiful actresses on the sets through a dance performance with each. During the interaction time, shy girl Huma revealed that she is a big fan of Salman Khan. She also went inside the Bigg Boss 7 house and from there she said, “I am a big fan of yours and that is the reason, I watch Bigg Boss.”Huma’s revelation brought smile on Salman’s face and he replied to her by saying, “Arre, aap ne pehle kyu nahi bataya agar bataati toh mere saath yahan hoti.”Huma made her feature-film debut with a supporting role in the 2012 critically acclaimed crime drama Gangs of Wasseypur - Part 1 and Part 2 as Mohsina. Her performance won wide critical acclaim, earning several nominations in the Best Supporting Actress and Best Female Debut category (including the Filmfare). Star-actor Saif Ali Khan is someone who has made his mark in Bollywood without belonging to any camp, and has managed to maintain steady relationship with each and every actor of the industry. Recently he gave the title of his film Yaariyan to T-Series head-honcho Bhushan Kumar.This shows that the actor very well knows the value of good relations. While speaking about the same recently, Divya Khosla Kumar said that it was really kind of Saif to give away his title. "When Bhushan heard the script, he thought Yaariyan would be the apt title for the film but when we checked the title was registered with Saif Ali Khan's company. Bhushan spoke to him and without charging anything, he gave us the title free of cost. That's really generous of him," said Divya.For those unaware, the film, which stars newcomers, will release on January 10. As of now Divya is looking forward to promote the film on TV reality show Bigg Boss Saath-7, which is hosted by superstar Salman Khan. "I know Salman and he is close to Bhushan. I am happy we are going to Bigg Boss to promote the film," she said.The happy actress-turned-director Divya also didn’t forget to credit her hubby Bhushan, without whom she says that the film wouldn’t have been possible. The British singer-cum-actress Sofia Hayat, who entered as a wild card entrant a few weeks back, is dropped out from Bigg Boss 7 house. Though initially, she entered the caravan section of the house, she soon stepped into the main Bigg Boss house where she mingled with all the contestants. She came out with a lot of spunk and never-say-die attitude in the show.However, post her fight with housemate Armaan Kohli, she was not feeling good in the house. Even at a point of time, she managed to create controversies and demanded to evict Armaan from the house. During a task Armaan supposedly hit the lady with the mop stick and she wanted to move out of the house.Sofia also made good friends in form of Gauhar Khan, Kushal Tandon, Andy and Kamya Punjabi. She joined Gauhar and Kamya’s hands and played the game while adopting the divide and rule tactic. But situations did not work in her favor and she ended up switching sides between Armaan-Tanisha and Gauhar-Kamya. Owing to her double-faced and deceitful nature, she attracted a lot of criticism from the housemates and was often referred to as Kerosene. Over all, she receives mixed feedbacks from her followers. Talking on her experience, Sofia Hayat said, “I had never watched a single season of Bigg Boss and had a very little idea about what I was getting into. But at the end of my journey in the house, I have learned a lot of things and was able to sail through all the testing times. Everybody is talking about the latest controversy held in Bigg Boss 7 house between Tanisha Mukherjee and Kushal Tandon. Being a host of the show, Salman Khan took the charge to speak on the matter but what comes out from his mouth had surprised on and all. It was expected that Salman, who usually stay unbiased on the show, will be taking equal side of both the contestant but he seemed upset with Kushal’s behaviour bad towards Tanisha and lashed out on him.He gave an earful to Kushal for insulting Tanisha. “If you are thinking that you can clean your image, it's a misconception,” Salman told Kushal, and added he too had faced it and realised that one's mistakes are engraved on people's memories. “Because of this episode, this might be the last season for me,” he also said.Now, his reaction on the matter formed hullabaloo all over. There is a mixed reaction seen on the social networking site twitter where Salman Khan kept on updating about the substance. He took to twitter when his stand and the entire show was questioned by some of his followers. He tweeted: “@BeingSalmanKhan: The choice is yours if u wanna watch Bigg Boss or not. Elli Avram, the actress and model of Swedish-Greek origin, who has been eliminated from the Bigg Boss - Saath 7 house can't hide her gratitude for the warmth that the reality show's host and Bollywood star Salman Khan's extended to her during the show."I don't know why he was so nice to me. He is a big superstar. And his kindness meant a lot to me. I think he sensed that I was all alone in Bigg Boss house. The only foreigner. He helped me feel comfortable in Bigg Boss by just the way he spoke to me. Of course, I soon became comfortable in there. I've learnt a lot of Hindi in there," said Elli, who was evicted on Saturday.Elli comes out from Bigg Boss with a good feeling about most of the inmates. "My friends say, I find everyone to be good and likeable. But I can't help it. I don't have unkind thoughts about anyone inside the Bigg Boss house. Yes, there were stressful moments and ugly scenes with some of them. But it was soon okay," she added.Elli wants to connect with her friends Hazel Keech and Ratan Rajput whom she bonded with good friendship during the show.

Fear is always about the worst that can happen.  Once you start experiencing things and taking challenges, going after what you're afraid of and doing things, you start losing your fear. You realise that even if things don't turn up how you expect them to, life goes on and things are not really as bad as you expect them to be even in the worst times,'' says the 30-year-old actress. Continuing further, she said, ''It's all about letting go of your fears and not being afraid to do whatever you need to do.'' At the same time, she denied being in relationship with Ranbir Kapoor and claimed to be single rather. "I am single until I get married. This sentence was mine and now everybody uses it. I should have a copyright over it. Also, I have no plans to get married yet," said Katrina Kaif. Quizzed why the alleged couple is always stalked by the media, she answered, "May be, because everyone is single or married. I don't mind people running behind me. Bollywood starlet Mallika Sherawat’s debut show on television The Bachelorette India-Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika has failed to ring a bell at TRP meter and gets an average opening of 1,700 TVT in its opening week. It was premiered on Life OK on October 7. The rating is much lower than what other non-fiction shows got in their first week. For instance, Kaun Banega Crorepati garnered 8,705 and Bigg Boss 7 got 5,080 TVT.The Bachelorette India is the first official version of the international reality show-The Bachelorette because we have seen three and half versions of this same reality show on Imagine TV but then they were not official version but were inspired.Though the show was launched with much pomp and glory but it seems the audiences are not interested in Mallika’s hunt for her life-partner. Maybe it’s lure for big bucks that might have prompted Mallika Sherawat to scout for a partner through a reality show because it is difficult to believe that a Bollywood actress, who has had a tryst with Hollywood, hasn’t been able to find a companion.Let’s see if she really gets a suitor or everything is scripted.

Even though Salman Khan has worked with renowned filmmakers liked Karan Johar  and Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Saawariya, respectively, but now the two of them have not worked with the actors since quite some time.And this fact came out on his television show Bigg Boss 7 when Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan came on the show to promote their upcoming film Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, directed by Punit Malhotra.It started when Salman quizzed Kareena whether she is punctual on her film’s sets. The actress replied saying, ''Just like you, I also come late on the sets.'' This statement made Salman immediately comment, ''Because of actresses like you, a professional actor like me has a bad name in the industry. Everyone thinks I come late.'' He further added, ''That is the reason why directors like Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and all these people don't want to work with me. Not fair. You are spoiling my name, reputation.'' Hope KJo and SLB are paying attention to this. We wonder if they soon offer him their next directorial!

Telly industry’s one of the most sought after anchors, Manish Paul is set jump high from small screen to 70mm screen with his upcoming film Mickey Virus. He is busy doing promotions for the film which is slated to release on October 25. He is excited and feels proud to see his hoardings all over Mumbai. He says it's a dream come true.An elated lad said, “It's a dream come true. I have got a solo lead film, my hoardings are all over Mumbai...I used to see film hoardings around Juhu whenever I visited Mumbai as a kid. So, it's a dream come true.”Manish, who is sharing a screen space with debutant Elli Avram, further adds that all actors who come to Mumbai aims to do films. “I also had similar dreams when I came to Mumbai in 2005. But I thought I needed grooming. I didn't have a filmy background, and so I did television, radio jockeying and then I thought it's the right time to do films,” said Manish, who was last seen anchoring in Colors’ Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.Elli Avram, who hails from Greek, is currently seen in reality show Bigg Boss Saath-7.
