Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor is also categorized herself in the list of actors, who never think twice before cracking their heel to depict the role, perfectly.First, she went to indulge into the books of physiotherapy as per the demand of her upcoming film Khoobsurat, a remake of 1988’s Rekha starrer same name. It was also reported that she is also doing up things for the costumes of her character. If this is not enough, Sonam has had her earlobe and cartilage pierced specially for the movie. “Getting our ears pierced when we are kids is easy but to have the cartilage pierced is an extremely painful exercise,” said Sonam, who was given an option to wear artificial jewel in the film. However, despite the fact that it would be extremely hurtful, Sonam was not at all daunted by the whole idea. She immediately agreed to do it as it adds spunk to her character.She plays a physiotherapist and we must say the real life diva is quite kicked about her non-glamorous role in the film. It looks the film will also be seen reflecting in her role in the film.Sonam was last seen in Raanjhanaa and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.

Veteran actress Madhoo, who is eyeing to make comeback in Bollywood films, says she would like to do work that has been done by actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor. She is looking to take up challenging work.She is known for her work in films like Roja, Diljale and Phool Aur Kaante. Madhoo has already started working down South."My south films have started releasing. One film released last month and did 50 days run, so I believe it's a hit. I have signed a couple of films and will start shooting soon. I have started acting again and I am enjoying that. Hopefully I will do a Hindi film soon, waiting for right movie to come to me," said Madhoo. The actress would love to take up interesting film offers and wishes that filmmakers approach her with variety of scripts. "I don't want to say things and limit myself as an actress. I am at a juncture in my life where I can explore and do many different things. I would want producers and creative people to think of something really challenging and wonderful for me as an actress," Madhoo said."When you are younger and playing a heroine, at that time things are pretty similar - like falling in love with the hero and getting married in the end. But now the movies and characterization are different. I can do many more things than I did earlier in my life. It is like Chintuji Amitji, like they are doing fantastic roles now. Shilpa Shetty Kundra, who has been a vital actress in the Bollywood industry has done various kinds of roles in her career and is currently settling for the role of a filmmaker, with her movie Dishkiyaaoon in line. The actress says that she won’t act for the other 18 months, till the time her son Viaan doesn’t start understanding her work.The actress said, “I will take At least another year-and-a-half... till Viaan is able to communicate with me and understands my work. Then may be I will think of doing a film.”Shilpa is seen on the small screens now-a-days and is also seen doing many endorsements. The actress was last seen as the judge of the dance reality show Nach Baliye 5 and is gearing up to judge another season of the show.She said, “TV is easier, and for endorsements, I can command when I want to work. It's kind of suited to my current role - being a mother, the most wonderful role of my life. I am enjoying it.”She has taken a sabbatical from the industry as films take a lot of time, and she needs to give time to her son as well. She said, “Honestly, it is a self-imposed sabbatical. My priority definitely is Viaan at the moment. I haven't thought about films really, it's just too time consuming.”Talking about her production Dishkiyaaoon, the action thriller stars Harman Baweja and Sunny Deol in the lead roles. The movie will also introduce Ayesha Khanna to the industry.

Going making rounds in Hollywood has that actor Idris Elba is going around with his make-up artist Naiyana Garth. It is said that they have been dating for quite some time, and now their relationship is said to have gotten serious, as recently Garth met up with his family and friends recently.Sources claim that Elba, 41, entered in relationship with Garth only sometime back. "They've been together for a few months but it's really ramped up recently. They get on brilliantly and she's a real hit with his family and friends. Idris is known as a ladies' man but he's really not at all. He'd rather have banter at the bar than spend all night grafting on women. Although he doesn't have to try anyway, women flock to him," a source said.Meanwhile, some time back, the actor, who shares 11-year-old daughter, Isan, with his ex-wife Dormowa Sherman, had said that the fame came in between his love life, and he is only approached by women, who want his autograph."Look, you probably think I'm out there all the time. Megastar Shah Rukh Khan was recently invited to the 19th Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF), where he said that he is looking forward to take Bengali lessons from actress-politician Jaya Bachchan, as he wants to be a true Bengali."Thank you Kolkata for adopting me and giving me the opportunity to be here. I have been coming here for the last three years and I promise you next time I am here I will speak in Bengali so Jaya aunty feels I am truly, truly from Kolkata then. I will come to you and learn from you. So next time when you stand on stage I will be a true Bengali and welcome everyone," said the actor at the event. One may recall that during the inaugural ceremony Jaya Bachchan had said that her hubby Amitabh Bachchan, SRK, and Kamal Haasan are non-real Bengalis. For those unaware, SRK is also the brand ambassador of West Bengal, and he hoped that such festival assist in giving a boost to Indian films."Festivals like this one express collective happiness over life, I think. I hope creative interactions of this scale help Indian films reach the height that great filmmakers present tonight, and those who passed away, like the wonderful Rituparno, dreamt of for Indian film," Khan added.

Once Amitabh Bachchan said in a statement that people in filmdom used to criticise him in his initial stage because of his giraffe length height, but instead of getting disappointed from the comments he fought with the community and proved his mettle to the entire industry.Something similar has experienced by Bollywood actress Nimrat Kaur, who says when she landed in tinsel town, people had different opinions about her look. She had an illiberal experience when a filmmaker advised her to go for a plastic surgery. She said, “When I came into the industry, people had different opinions about how I look. Some told me I was too pretty, others said I wasn't fair enough or tall enough. Nearly seven years ago, I was even advised by a filmmaker to consider plastic surgery. Soon, I stopped thinking about what works.”The actress, who stars in much acclaimed film The Lunchbox, has been now praised for her looks and performance by audience and critics as well. About the success she said, “I am happy with the kind of launch I have got. It is a very exciting time for actors as roles that can surprise them are being written. This was not the case 15 years ago. A film like The Dirty Picture would not have been possible then. Also we, including the audience, are more exposed to world cinema these days. Its effect has seeped into the industry. Filmmakers today have a wider vocabulary.”Way to girl!

If Sylvester Stallone-Arnold Schwarzenegger combination The Expendables 2 was Rowdy Rathore, Trust me Escape Plan is Ra.One and Trimurti of Hollywood. My first question is why this film is directed by Mikael Hafstrom. Mikael Hafstrom is a director who made some commendable Horror/Thrillers such as The Rite (Anthony Hopkins), Shanghai (John Cusack), Derailed and one of my favorite 1408 (John Cusack and Samuel L Jackson). 1408 still scares the hell out of me.Take a close look at the film Escape Plan's trailer and i promise you will know the entire plot of the movie. But a craziest fan of Arnie and Stallone (Like myself, Of course) you would like to watch the two biggest super action (Aging) stars on the screen.Ray Breslin (Sylvester Stallone), an expert of breaking out of federal maximum security prisons who is hoodwinked into testing a new privately run facility for people who should not be allowed out in the real world. In the allegedly escape-proof prison (Which was designed with references from Ray's book), known as The Tomb, he meets Rottmayer (Arnold Schwarzenegger -Appears exactly after 35 minutes of the Film). And together they plot their eventual liberation.Just when you start to feel Escape Plan can become Stallone's 90's Lock Up and Arnie's Terminator 2 (Both fantastic films of the stars respectively),The movie starts becoming easy and ill-logical. The Prison Doctor (Sam Neill) who gets so easily convinced by Ray (In hardly few seconds), and arranges the Helicopter along with Guns etc for their escape. Ray's partner's involvement with Warden Hobbs (Jim Caveizel). And of course the hopeless climax which will definitely make you think what went wrong with Arnie-Stallone's head while coming on board for this movie.Oh? Did i miss the "Muslim" inmate who helps both Arnold and Stallone in their Escape? Gosh! That was so Bollywoodish!Speaking of performances, Stallone is good but handicapped by a bad script. Arnold appears just how Jackie Shroff used to appear in films that were made after 2000. Stallone uses Arnold as a "Chai-Wala' in the whole film and Arnold looked very comfortable doing this part (I am still surprised). Sam Neill is another example of any Kiran Kumar's character from any Bollywood Film. Jim Caveizel is a wonderful talent wasted in this Multi Million dollar "Proposal". Now, Why do i call this one as a "Proposal"? Because, I heard somewhere that Hollywood and Bollywood make such kinds of film to lure the Audiences and fails miserably.Mikael Hafstrom, as I pointed out earlier is good at his Horror/Thriller works. He is not capable in making or executing an action flick which he proves with Escape Plan. The Production Value, Camera Work is good but doesn't help a Bad Script. The Screenplay and Editing is jerky and boring. If you (Still Dare To) see the film, There are lots of unanswered questions.Escape Plan does not even works for its Action, Because it does not have it. I will also not recommend you to rent the film on DVD or Blu Ray because such films are best on the Free Television Premiere which i guess will happen soon. I feel sorry for Heroes such as Arnold Schwarzenegger (Especially) and Sylvester Stallone!

Even though Salman Khan has worked with renowned filmmakers liked Karan Johar  and Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Saawariya, respectively, but now the two of them have not worked with the actors since quite some time.And this fact came out on his television show Bigg Boss 7 when Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan came on the show to promote their upcoming film Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, directed by Punit Malhotra.It started when Salman quizzed Kareena whether she is punctual on her film’s sets. The actress replied saying, ''Just like you, I also come late on the sets.'' This statement made Salman immediately comment, ''Because of actresses like you, a professional actor like me has a bad name in the industry. Everyone thinks I come late.'' He further added, ''That is the reason why directors like Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and all these people don't want to work with me. Not fair. You are spoiling my name, reputation.'' Hope KJo and SLB are paying attention to this. We wonder if they soon offer him their next directorial!

Filmmaker Punit Malhotra, whose directorial Gori Tere Pyaar Mein releases soon, says that he wanted the film to be a two-hero two-heroine, and for the same, he wanted Saif Ali Khan to be the other hero, besides Imran Khan. "At one point of time this film was a two hero-two heroine subject. I only went to the boys. It was Saif and Imran. But for some reasons that didn't work out. I then made it into a solo hero film," says Punit. After making debut with I Hate Luv Storys, Punit took quite long to come up with his next."Imran made me wait a lot. I took three drafts to him, he had issues with first and second draft. When I went for the third time, he approved the first draft only. That led to the delay but I have no complaints," said Punit. Meanwhile, rumours had that Shahid Kapoor was approached for the project.Speaking on the same, Punit said that he did approach another actor, but denied naming him. "Imran initially rejected it, so I went to another actor, but that didn't work out and I made the changes in the script and went back to Imran and then he liked the first draft itself," he said.He also revealed that Saif rejected the offer. "Things with Saif never worked out, but he said take Kareena. We also felt at some point that there is too much happening, so we mellowed it down and made it one hero film," Punit said."We were first waiting for Imran's approval and after that happened, we started thinking about the female lead opposite him. Imran asked me who I wanted, I said Kareena but I felt she was beyond my reach," the director said."Also she had lot of projects in hand at that time. Then it so happened that she walked out of those projects and her dates opened up. I called her, narrated the script and it worked out well," he said. Gori Tere Pyaar Mein releases on November 22!
