The maiden episode of Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee with Karan featuring Salman Khan went viral amidst the audience. It was an awe-struck beginning that one reality show could ever have. This was followed by equally accepted chapter of gorgeous Kareena Kapoor along with superstar brother Ranbir Kapoor.And now, the famous show will mark the presence of none other than Aamir Khan, who is well-known for his choosy nature. He is selective about his choice of films that is known by everyone but to our knowledge actor Aamir Khan is equally choosy about giving interviews. But it seems Karan Johar has cracked the deal calling him in his show for the first time.The coming episodes of the show will see Aamir Khan is turning candid along with wife Kiran Rao. They will sit on the couch opposite host Karan and we expect nothing less than fireworks from this one. We haven't seen Aamir and Kiran together giving an interview before and Karan will ensure that their first time together is worthwhile.First Salman and now Aamir, we wonder why Karan is ignoring his best buddy Shah Rukh Khan who usually was the first choice for all the seasons.

With three super-star looking young actors, one of the catchy storyline and a team who did every good thing to change its fate, Student of The Year was released in the same month last year 2012. Director Karan Johar feels proud that all of his highlighted actors, including Alia Bhatt, Sana Seed, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra are doing extremely well in the industry.Karan tweeted, “SOTY completes a year today! I am really proud of my three students and the entire cast and crew of this young, fun and special film of my career,” Karan posted on Twitter on Saturday (October 19, 2013). Student Of The Year released on October 19, 2012.The film proved to be a good launch-pad for its three lead actors, who managed to pocket plum Bollywood projects post the film's release.  Alia, daughter of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, will be seen in Imitiaz Ali's Highway and Abhishek Verman's 2 States. Thanking Karan, Alia tweeted, “SOTY completes one year and so do I.. one year since I've been in the industry! Thank you Karan Johar for giving us the perfect break.”Based on a school competition, the romantic-comedy revolves around the lives of three college students, played by mentioned actors. Son of filmmaker David Dhawan, Varun is working on his father's Main Tera Hero, while model-turned-actor Siddharth has just finished shooting Hasee Toh Phasee. He also has Ekta Kapoor's The Villain in his kitty.Kudos guys!

Young director Punit Malhotra, I Hate Luv Storys fame, is working with filmmaker Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions for the second time. He is completing in Karan’s impression and praises him as an easygoing producer.He is collaborated with Karan again for Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, which stars Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead. Speaking about the work pattern of KJo’s production unit, Punit said, “As a producer Karan is lenient enough to give you whatever you want. The advantage is that he is also a director. As far as the space is concerned, he didn't come on the sets even once. As a producer, he gives you everything you want.”Earlier, Punit has attended Karan as his assistant in his hit film Kal Ho Na Ho and Dostana. About his upcoming directorial, he says GTPM is a wholesome entertainment which pulls a universal audience. But he is not targeting Rs.100-crore marks. “Rs.100 crore depends on a lot of factors. The canvas of the film leads it to that zone. Ours is definitely not in that zone. It's a fun film,” concluded Punit.Gori Tere Pyaar Mein is releasing on November 22 and the lead actors are currently busy in promotional activities. They have visited television shows like Comedy Nights with Kapil, Kone Banega Crorepati among mores.

Here’s one more high-profiled project landed in the kitty of petite actress Parineeti Chopra. She has signed another romantic film titled Daawat-e-Ishq post two hit films Ishaqzaade and Shuddh Desi Romance. The project will be directed by Do Dooni Char and Ishaqzaade fame Habib Faisal and features Aditya Roy Kapur, Karan Wahi in the male lead roles. Anupam Kher would be seen essaying supporting character in the film, which is said to be a romantic comedy.Parineeti will work for the second time with Habib, while it would be her first venture with Aditya Roy, who rose to fame with Aashiqui 2. Karan Wahi, popular TV actor who has done shows like Dill Mill Gyye, Kuch Toh Loh Kahenge, Indian Idol Junior (hosting), will make his debut with the film. Veteran actor Anupam Kher confirmed the news sharing it on his micro-blogging site, “Delighted to be part of Daawat-e-Ishq with Parineeti Chopra, Habib Faisal, Aditya Roy Kapur and Karan Wahi.”Currently Parineeti is busy shooting for director Vinil Mathew on his project Hasee Toh Phasee, being produced by Karan Johar. It stars Sidharth Malhotra. What say guys, who will look good opposite Parineeti; Sidharth Malhotra or Aditya Roy Kapur?

Popular heartthrob of television Gautam Rode, currently seen in Star Plus’ most likable shows-Saraswatichandra and Nach Baliye, says his jam-packed busy life where he works in all 30 days of month doesn’t allow him to be in a relationship. He also adds that he is open for a relationship only if he gets time.Gautam hosts Nach Baliye, along with mad-cap Karan Wahi. Both share a great bond on the sets that actually help them to create magic on screen. About his tuning with Karan, he said, “It is a lot of fun, as anchoring is more about creating a comfort level with the contestants and judges. Karan and I are comfy in real life as well, he is chote and I am bade. Many a times we improvise on stage and people seem to enjoy our jokes. ”It is the second time when Karan and Gautam are back as host of NB. About the response and feedbacks, he said, “If we are back, it shows we must have done something right. On a more serious note the last season rocked due to the great chemistry between the jodis and excellent judging. Everybody had a blast including us. They know it is in jest and boy banter is always fun to watch, as it lightens the otherwise tense atmosphere.”Considering the fact that the show is based on love, dance and relationship, Gautam was quizzed as if he also feels the need to have a Baliye. “On the set it does, but practically speaking I am too busy to think about getting into a relationship. Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif's last romantic sojourn hogged limelight after pictures of their Ibiza stint, her in a mismatched bikini and him in shorts, were leaked. But that does not seem to have deterred the twosome as they are planning a vacation on New Year Eve. This time they are set to usher in 2014 in New York.Their good friends Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji and Manish Malhotra will also join them in the celebration. According to the little birdie, “Ranbir has wrapped up a small portion of Jagga Jasoos and his schedule is such that personal commitments don't hinder his film. Katrina too has worked out a plan to leave the city in the last week of December. They will be joined by Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji and Manish Malhotra.”It is known that last year Karan and Manish brought in the New Year in Dubai while Ranbir and Katrina celebrated in the States. However, this time, the whole gang is planning a huge celebration in New York.Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jasoos features Katrina-Ranbir together and has completed first schedule of shooting.
