From the moment Anil Kapoor bought the Indian Version official rights of the famous American T.V Series 24, The Trade, Press, Media and Viewers started drawing certain comparisons. Some started comparing Anil Kapoor with Keifer Sutherland, while others started analyzing Indian Viewer's acceptance towards the show. Anil Kapoor's '24' premiered its first episode tonight at 10 pm on Colors. It also replaced the popular comedy show, Comedy Nights With Kapil.So how is the show? Will it shatter all Daily Soap records with its TRP? Will 24 bring a new revolution in the history of Indian Television? Can 24 become a platform where a T.V watching viewer starts accepting big stars on small screen (On a Serial Format, of course and not in some Game or Reality based shows)?The serial's first episode starts with an explanation from its protagonist Jai Singh Rathod (Anil Kapoor) where he explains how India has faced some major terrorist attacks and for which Indian Government has formed ATU (Anti-Terrorist Unit) to protect our country from any such future damages. Jai Singh Rathod is the head of this ATU.Jai Singh Rathod is celebrating his wife Trisha Rathod's (Tisca Chopra) birthday along with his daughter Kiran (Sapna Pabbi). Jai get's a call from Nikita Rai (Mandira Bedi) who is a government agent at ATU. The minute Jai reaches the ATU Wing, He is informed about a serious threat on PoliticianAditya Singhania (Neil Bhoopalam) who is a Prime-Ministerial candidate and a youth icon. Aditya Singhania's life is in danger. Jai (While his way to ATU) get's a call from Wasim Khan (Anupam Kher) who is a Research and Analysis wing (RAW) officer informing about a "Rat" in ATU wing.Irritated by his father's behavior, Kiran goes out to party with her friends without informing her mother. The result is she goes missing.Aditya Singhania is ready to take his oath the next day with a prepared speech by his Mother (Anita Raj). But all hell breaks loose when he gets an immediate call from a T.V Channel head (Suchitra Pillai) who informs him about some of his dark crime which he committed 12 years back.A contract Killer is on his way from Thailand but killed in the Flight itself by another Femme Fatale. The Indian adaptation of '24', retains all the elements of the international series, the real-time, pulse-pounding, fast-paced format with split screens and complex interweaving storylines, with 24 episodes capturing 24 hours.Director Abhinay Deo does full justice with his dedicated direction along with tight screenplay by writers Rensil D'Silva and Milan Milaap Zaveri. This one does not at all looks like a T.V Series but it looks like a One Hour feature film on TV. Full marks to the Direction, Writing and Production team for creating a wonderful extravaganza on small screen. Performance wise, The show totally belongs to the one and only Anil Kapoor who makes you sit tight without touching your Remote Control buttons with his charm and persona. Keifer Sutherland as Jack Bauer might have been good there, but here Anil Kapoor is extra-ordinarily amazing as Jai Singh Rathod. Tisca Chopra, Anupam Kher, Mandira Bedi are superb in their respective parts. Neil Bhoopalam is just outstanding as Aditya Singhania and trust me, this first season belongs to him after Jai Singh Rathod. We are yet to see Shabana Azmi, But it was nice to see Anita Raj in a mind blowing role after a long time. Special mention to the actress who played Femme Fatale, The one who killed the contract killer and jumps from the flight. She hardly had 10 minutes in the First Episode, but she made her presence felt real strong.It is reported, some major channels initially refused to buy the idea of Indian Version of 24, At least not until Colors swooped in. I am very much sure those channels now regret it. I really have no clue or will not lay a challenge if 24 beats other Thrillers running strongly on other TV Channels with huge TRP's, But 24 will be the most exciting, The most talked about and the most interesting TV Mini Series India has ever produced.Prepare yourself on every Fridays and Saturdays at 10pm for a Thrilling roller coaster ride of 24 as this one is most Powerful, Gripping and an Honest show you will ever come across.

Last year on his birthday, Kamal Haasan released the trailer of Vishwaroopam in Auro 3D surround sound, and this year, it is expected that he is planning to treat his fans by releasing Vishwaroopam 2 trailer on his birthday, November 7."He has been thinking about releasing the trailer of the sequel on his birthday. It was supposed to be released earlier, but there was some more editing to be made. He is yet to confirm if he will indeed release it on his birthday," a source from the film's unit said. For those unaware, the second installment of Vishwaroopam is also a Tamil-Hindi bilingual spy-thriller, which is written and directed by Kamal Haasan, who also plays the role of Major Wisam Ahmad Kashmiri. It also stars Rahul Bose, Pooja Kumar, Shekhar Kapur and Andrea Jeremiah, and has been mostly shot in India. In the movie, yesteryears actress Waheeda Rehman will be seen playing Kamal's mother. The film has been produced by Venu Ravichandran. You must know that earlier this year, when Vishwaroopam released, it faced several setbacks, and despite that it went on to mint Rs.100 crore at the box-office.We hope Haasan attains success with second installment as well!

It is a known fact that Deepika Padukone was approached for the seventh part of Hollywood flick Fast and Furious, but due to her recent released film Ram Leela, she couldn’t take it up. However, the gorgeous actress says she does not regret being unable to make her debut in English film world.“I don't regret it. I had to work out things for Ram Leela here, I couldn't have left the process mid way, and I had given my commitment here first. Looking at the way the film Ram Leela has got response, I feel good as my hard work has paid off,” shares the long less.Deepika, 27, make her plans clear that she is still open to doing films whenever the right offer comes up. “I would love to do a Hollywood film. The reason for me to do a Hollywood film is same as what I do here in Bollywood,” averred Deepika.The diva, who is basking in the success with back-to-back superhit films, says she is open even if the role is small in Hollywood film. She said, “There is nothing like a small role. The role has to be of impact, this is what matters, the length of it doesn't. A good actor can make a presence felt even in a short time.”Deepika is currently busy shooting for Farah Khan’s upcoming film Happy New Year, which stars her two-film co-star Shahrukh Khan along with Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood, and Jackie Shroff among more. Ekta Kapoor’s long running TV show Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV has been grabbing attention post the big-fat generation leap. Ankita Lokhande, the protagonist is now seen playing double role and the storyline has been shifted to a completely new block. In the coming episodes, Ankita (Ankita Lokhande) will be seen taking a major decision of her life. To bring out her family from the financial crisis, she will get herself ready to marry her boss Naren (Karan Mehra), who suffers from a mental ailment. She sacrifies her life to make her siblings financially stable. According to the sources, “Archana's mother-in-law, Savita tai (Usha Nadkarni) and mother Sulochana (Savita Prabhune) will be seen inviting characters from various shows on the channel to attend the wedding. Aamir Khan had to be on medication to keep nausea down for days when the actor was shooting for Dhoom 3’s song, Malang. The song has been shot at a huge height of about 80 feet and Aamir was to rotate 60 times in a minute for the same.Aamir plays the role of a gymnast in Dhoom 3 and this was required. It is the first time the actor will be doing a thing like that. However, the perfectionist that he is, the actor willingly took it up without complaints and wanted to do it just the right way. It took the team about 15 days to complete the shoot of the song and Aamir Khan was on medication for those many days. The medication was to help him keep nausea down. As he was at a huge height, taking turns, it is human to feel nauseated.Also to make sure all is well, the makers of the movie specially called a doctor, who works with gymnasts, to be on the sets to help Aamir. Dhoom 3 is a high on energy song. In terms of scale or budgets it is going to be massive. The song is around the central theme of gymnastic and will have 200 dancers in the frame.Spokesperson of Aamir Khan says, "The song was being shot at about 80 feet from the ground. To do this, Aamir was on special medication to be able to perform at ease without major effects on his health."

Bollywood is reeling with shock over the fallout between actor Sushant Singh Rajput filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor. It has been buzzing that former has refused to do latter’s film citing his date issues. Sushant was launched by Abhishek amidst full fanfare in commercially successful film Kai Po Che. The actor, later, went ahead to sign two major films, Shuddh Desi Romance (released with descent reviews) and Peekay (Aamir Khan’s ambitious project likely to release in next year).However, it is reported that Sushant has snubbed Abhishek, his mentor, for other projects. “Sushant stabbed his mentor by giving Aditya Chopra preference over him. And, even as we write, details of this guru-shishya estrangement are still tumbling out, said gossipmongers.A close friend of Abhishek said, “Abhishek was shocked when he heard that he would have to wait in queue for Sushant's dates. Gattu's ego was also hurt because he would have to deal with Sushant's management team (who work under Adi) for all things related to the boy who he had given a break.”Well, this is not the first time when actors broke out with their godfathers immediately after their debut. Yes, the couple who have got married recently will face a major problem with the entry of Avinash’s character.Currently, Ganga is seen facing difficulties with her work in hospital as a nurse and at home as an idol bahu, who is supposed to take care about the whole family.
