Courtesy her two singles, In My City and Exotic, Priyanka Chopra has made quite a few friends with American singers. Recently, when she travelled New York, she was spotted rubbing shoulders with Ashanti, the R&B songstress, who is rather known for her risqué sartorial choices than her music. Priyanka was making her presence felt at the opening of a nightclub in Manhattan, when she encountered Ashanti. Despite the first meet, they appeared to be quite friendly with each other, and quickly struck up a conversation and then happily posed for the shutterbugs. Looks like, Pee Cee is quite enjoying making new friends in the USA, as last time she was spotted partying with football stars including Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, and this time it is with pop-stars. Meanwhile, if we speak of her Bollywood career, she would be seen shaking a leg in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial Ramleela, where she has donned a white choli and dhoti with a thigh high slit.Choreographed by Prabhu Deva's brother Vishnu Dev, the item number was shot in the Film City Studios. Impressed with Priyanka's dancing skills, Vishnu tweeted: “Ram leela 2nd song finished with Priyanka she is fabulous dancer and fun working with her.”The film features Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh as its leading stars, and also stars Richa Chadda, Supriya Pathak, Gulshan Devaiah, Abhimanyu Shekhar Singh, Shweta Salve, Barkha Bisht Sengupta and Sharad Kelkar.

At the recently held renowned Pune Festival, one saw the likes of Hema Malini, Dimple Kapadia, Urmila Matondkar performing at the opening ceremony. However the closing ceremony had only one  stellar star performance wrapping up the festival.It was none other than Model/VJ/Actress Pooja Misrra doing a seductive lavani dance which she picked up in record time of one day wherein she rehearsed for 12 hours non-stop. That's not all she was also the celebrity star judge at the Miss Pune contest held at Pune Festival. We have heard of the Ghaziabad girl Alisa Kkhan from the royal house of the lineage of Mohammad Nawab Ghaziauddin Khan, after whom the Ghaziabad region in NCR is named to step into the industry. Alisa has done 12 Punjabi music albums in the past which also include the ones with Mika and Bally Sagoo.Alisa who will be seen in the movie My Wife’s Husband, says, “I started working at the age of 12 and have always believed in looking ahead. I am a trained belly dancer and an extremely passionate actor. I hope to become the number one actress one day.”She will also be seen in Vikram Bhatt’s Aaina opposite Emraan Hashmi. Alias said, “Yes, I am doing Vikram Bhatt's Aaina where I play the lead opposite Emraan Hashmi. When I did my first film, My Husband's Wife, I was offered similar roles and many others as supporting lead too. However, I am certainly not interested in playing anybody's sidekick. I want to do main leads only and other than Aaina, I have two more interesting projects in the pipeline.”Well, girl you got a long way to go, just watch out for every step you take in the industry.

The online release of the trailer had a surprise element for Shahid’s fans. Earlier, it was reported that he has signed model-turned-item girl Scarlett Wilson for an item number that will feature her opposite film’s villain Sonu Sood. The Ashtami celebrations at The North Bengal Sarbajanin Durga Puja at The Tulip Star, Juhu on 12th Oct, 2013, had celebrated Music composer, Pritam and his musicians enthrall the audience with a show that got everyone to their feet from the word go. The show had Pritam and his band belt out one hit number after another with performances from renowned singers- Rekha Bhardwaj, Harshdeep Kaur, Neeti Mohan, Ash King and Javed Ali among others. The energy of the performances soon spread to the audience who were on their feet as the singers came down and mingled with them. We saw some cool dance moves from directors Anurag Basu, Ayan Mukerji and their families while Pritam matched them step by step!!The stage is now set for none other than Sukhwinder Singh who will perform on Nobomi night-13th Oct, 2013.

Thanks to the choreography which beautifully captures the Navratri festive spirit.The film director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, well-known for his art-work in his films, has worked on the music section of the film himself. From costumes designing of the lead protagonists to look of the song, he has given his own style to the track. He himself worked on the outfit of Deepika, who is looking drop dead gorgeous in her red lehenga, while Ranveer is looking quite splendid in his red turban.  The song, released on the festivity of Navratri, has turned extremely popular among garba lovers and is heard playing during the entire Dandiya festival. The song will remind you off Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan's Dholi Taro Dhol Baaje song from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Akshay Kumar and dancing superstar Prabhu Deva last shook a leg in Rowdy Rathore, and now once again they are ready to match the steps yet again in upcoming film Boss, which comes out soon. It is learnt that Prabhu Deva makes a special appearance in the film.Titled Hum Na Tode Phode, the song is based on the superhit dance number Apdi Pode, and has been sung by Vishal Dadlani.

The ethereal Sonakshi Sinha is all set to impress the audience with her charm with upcoming release of hers, Bullett Raja, where she will be seen opposite Saif Ali Khan. The romantic number from the film, Saamne Hai Savera was released recently, and it was shot against the backdrop of the old-world charm of Kolkata. It features Victorian era heritage structures, hand-pulled rickshaws and signature trams. Experiencing it all really made Sonakshi happy and excited as she got to ride a tram there for the first time in her life. Calling it an overwhelming experience, Sonakshi says, "This tram was like 100 years, almost like a time machine. It had a very romantic feel to it and made you just want to stop and look around. It was a very 'dreamy' tram indeed, but unfortunately I'd no one to share it with."The film is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, who is also co-producing it with Nitin Tej Ahuja and Rahul Mitra. It talks about the mafia based in Uttar Pradesh, and besides Saif and Sonakshi, it features Jimmy Sheirgill, Vidyut Jammwal, Gulshan Grover, Raj Babbar and Chunky Pandey. Bullett Raja, presented by Fox Star Studios and produced by Moving Pictures and BrandSmith Motion Pictures, releases November 29.

B-town beauty Lara Dutta, who is currently away from Bollywood, so that she could focus on raising her child, is set to put forth her designing skills as she will soon launch her own sari collection. She says that designing is her new baby."I have done films for 10 years. This is something new that I have forayed into; so it's my new baby. I am excited about the response from the customers," said Lara, who was in Delhi to launch her second sari range in association with Chhabra 555. Married to tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi, Dutta, 35, started designing last year, and it was then she created a whole line of saris. "The second collection is far more traditional. Personally I am a big fan of Benarasi saris and many other old-age fabrics; so I wanted to make those weaves younger and contemporary. Normally, we associate Benarasi saris with our aunts and our mothers, but I wanted to give it a younger and trendy feel," she said. Even though she is seen less on silver screen nowadays, Lara has no qualms. "I think each thing has its own space in life. I enjoyed being busy. My priority is my daughter. That will always be my number one priority. Now she is getting older, so I am getting more time to celebrate and concentrate on my own work; so here I am promoting the brand as much as possible," she said. Wish you luck!
