After making waves in numerous countries, Fire In The Blood screens today across India. A real life David and Goliath story”.  Legendary film critic Philip French of The Guardian and The Observer pronounces it to be “quietly devastating” and “a testament to human decency”.  Calling Fire in the Blood “"indispensable viewing” and a “very smart documentary from India”, David Rooney from The Hollywood Reporter says the film is “extremely moving... a powerful documentary that demands to be seen by as wide an audience as possible".Amongst India’s leading opinion makers, Barkha Dutt tweeted “A Must Watch: Fire in the Blood @fitbmovie (releasing Friday) - hard-hitting & searing film on how Big Pharma blocked affordable HIV drugs”The film has won three major international awards in recent months, including the 2013 DOXA Feature Documentary Award at Vancouver and the 2013 Justice Matters Award at the 27th Washington DC International Film Festival. The most recent feather in its cap is winning the first-ever Prize for Political Film at the recently-concluded Filmfest Hamburg in Germany.

The Ashtami celebrations at The North Bengal Sarbajanin Durga Puja at The Tulip Star, Juhu on 12th Oct, 2013, had celebrated Music composer, Pritam and his musicians enthrall the audience with a show that got everyone to their feet from the word go. The show had Pritam and his band belt out one hit number after another with performances from renowned singers- Rekha Bhardwaj, Harshdeep Kaur, Neeti Mohan, Ash King and Javed Ali among others. The energy of the performances soon spread to the audience who were on their feet as the singers came down and mingled with them. We saw some cool dance moves from directors Anurag Basu, Ayan Mukerji and their families while Pritam matched them step by step!!The stage is now set for none other than Sukhwinder Singh who will perform on Nobomi night-13th Oct, 2013.

Buzz doing around the telly world has that popular actor Shantanu Maheshwari aka Sham of popular show Dil Dostii Dance (Cinevistaas Productions) on Channel V has decided to quit the show. However, the young actor stabbed the report saying he is going nowhere and will stick to the show till its end.According to the sources, “The creative head of the show, Palki Malhotra with whom Shantanu shares a very close relation was shown the door, allegedly because of her affinity towards him. With co-actors Shakti Mohan and Kunwar Amar supposedly not liking the importance Shantanu was showered in terms of screen time, and complaining to the channel about the same, the lanky guy was left alone when his dear friend Palki, bid farewell to the show.”It was also buzzed that Shantanu spreading news that he too has decided to close the D3 chapter from his book, when his sole pillar of support is no more with him in it. It is said to be the reason Shantanu walking out of the show.  However, Shantanu come out rubbishing all the rumors saying, “I really don’t want to give any reasons to all these rumours, but would just want to tell my fans that I am not quitting D3. I am very much a part of it, so they need not get anxious.”This must be a relief for the fans of Shantanu.

Filmmaker Karan Johar is consistently in news for the different style of filmmaking he has brought up before all via his segment in Bombay Talkies.  Recently he bagged eyeballs for roping in YRF’s peon’s daughter in his segment to play a short role and now he has more interesting things rolling on his part.

Finally after a lot dilly dallying for almost a year to hold a concert in Dubai, the busiest star of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan has announced his World Tour premiering. Access to All-SRK Live in Concert has been kick started from December 1 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.SRK along with Madhuri Dixit, Jacqueline Fernandez, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Meiyang Chang, Neeti Mohan and Deepika Padukone have started to enthrall global audience. Before the event Shah Rukh Khan said, “I have wanted to do a big, all-encompassing live show for a long time. It will be a highly interactive experience for the viewers.” Khan is giving UAE fans an opportunity to experience a live concert concept and audiences can request the songs they want the stars to dance to. While shooting his next movie Happy New Year in Dubai, SRK held this second press conference in the span of three days to reveal his tour plans. “The audience can tell us what songs they want to see and hear through audience polls, newspapers, radio events that will start soon. We want it to be interactive, so some people who win events can come backstage and meet the artists and see what goes into making a live show. They will realise it’s not all fun and games and they will have access to some of the excitement that goes on behind the scenes,” he added.Earlier SRK did shows at Australia and New Zealand.
