The song from exotic looking Deepika Padukone and dapper dhoti-clad Ranveer Singh to rocking garba moves and melodious voices features everything in one composition. Thanks to the choreography which beautifully captures the Navratri festive spirit.The film director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, well-known for his art-work in his films, has worked on the music section of the film himself. From costumes designing of the lead protagonists to look of the song, he has given his own style to the track. He himself worked on the outfit of Deepika, who is looking drop dead gorgeous in her red lehenga, while Ranveer is looking quite splendid in his red turban.  The song, released on the festivity of Navratri, has turned extremely popular among garba lovers and is heard playing during the entire Dandiya festival. The song will remind you off Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan's Dholi Taro Dhol Baaje song from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. However, this peppy number is rocking with its dance moves, foot-tapping beats and the sizzling chemistry between Deepika and Ranveer.We must say this is a huge feat for the entire team as it is a highly awaited film from SLB's kitty. The film is slated to release on November 15, 2013.

Numero uno actress Deepika Padukone was lauded in a huge manner for her dance performance in Nagada Sang Dhol from Ram-Leela. However, if given the chance to performance again on the song, she feels it would be almost impossible for her to do it without film’s director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.In fact, the actress feels that the song’s popularity was the least expected of the lot. "There were other songs in the album which we thought would become popular, this was the underdog. In fact, I am doing a show where I am expected to recreate that magic but I don't think I'll be able to do that if I don't have Sanjay to direct," said Deepika.For those unaware, Deepika will be performing at the Temptation Reloaded show in Dubai on Sunday with stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit. Recently, she also completed the shooting of Homi Adajania’s directorial English film Finding Fanny Fernandes."It should be ready to release soon," she revealed. "I am also doing Happy New Year with Abhishek Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan, all fun boys to work with. On the occasion of 76th Birthday of Pandit Hridaynath Mangeshkar and 24th anniversary of Hridaynath Arts, Amitabh Bachchan was felicitated to commemorate 71st birthday of Amitabh Bachchan and 71 years of music career of Bharatratna Lata Mangeshkar.Sudesh Bhosale, Siddhant Bhosale, Shaan, Sadhana Sargam, Sunidhi Chauhan, Mahalakshmi Iyer, Vibhavari Apte and a host of singers sang on the occasion, and Harish Bhimani was at his best, not minding the sweltering heat minus ac. Jaya Bachchan, Hridaynath Mangeshkar, Avinash Prabhavalkar, Adinath Mangeshkar, Hema Bhosle, Shruti Bhosle, Ashok Kumar Saraf, Pravin Kumar Saraf and a horde of others graced the occasion.The open air venue of Parle Tilak Vidyalaya resonated with the sound of melodious music, where young Siddhant Bhosle gave the older voices a run for their money.Lata Mangeshkar however could not attend the event due to ill health. She was sweet to call on Adinath Mangeshkar's mobile to convey her inability to Amitabh Bachchan, who naturally took it in his stride and made the moments for the viewers very memorable indeed.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan must be very proud of his feat as he went on to receive the Hridaynath Mangeshkar award for the third time for his contribution to the film industry. It is learnt that the prestigious award was set to be presented to Big B by great singer Lata Mangeshkar, however, she failed to make it to the event due to health issues, and hence filmmaker Subhash Ghai did the honours. "I got everything in life from Mumbai, my success, my stardom, my wife, my children and now even grandchildren. I am truly proud to be a Mumbaikar as the city has given me the most," Bachchan said after receiving the award. Also, he went on to appreciate Lata Mangeshkar at the ceremony and also promised that next time if he wins the award, he will speak in her mother tongue, which happens to be Marathi. "Lataji has been exceptionally kind to us even in past when she sang for Jaya. Sadly she couldn't make it to today's function due to her illness, yet she apologized which is too humble on her part and status. I am truly honoured by this award," he said. Keep winning, Big B!
