Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kishan, who rarely gets to see in Hindi films, recently appeared in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s action thriller Bullett Raja opposite Saif Ali Khan  and Jimmy Shergil. He says he is a big fan of Tigmanshu’s films and was surprised when he called him for a role in his film.“My jaw dropped when I was first offered Bullett Raja. I met Tigmanshu Dhulia for the first time over dinner in Lucknow. As we were about to finish he said that I was doing his film. I was very happy to be a part of his film. I have been a big fan of him since Haasil. He makes my kind of cinema. The characters in his films are excellent,” said Ravi, who portrayed the role of a woman in Bullett Raja.He says the role was quite challenging. “This has been my most challenging role in the 22 years of my career. I have never played a woman. I also make out with a woman in the film, while wearing a sari. It's completely mad,” reveals Ravi.Produced by Fox Star Studios, Bullett Raja also features Sonakshi Sinha, Gulshan Grover, Chunky Pandey, Jimmy Shergil, Vidyut Jamwal and others. It was released on November 28 with mixed reviews.

Commando star Vidyut Jamwal, who recently starred in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Bullett Raja, has successfully impressed the audience as well as critics with his chiseled packs and high kicks. The film released on last Friday, and opened to good reviews from the critics.Even though his role was not a lengthy one in Bullett Raja, still Vidyut successfully impressed one and all. And now Vidyut is all set to take up the title of Action Hero of film industry. Quizzed why he decided to do the film despite it being a special appearance, he said, ''The driving force for Bullett Raja was Tigmanshu Dhulia. I love the way he makes movies. And I being a North Indian, I love the way he portrays the belt. Nobody else in the country does it. So when he told me I was very excited, though it was a small one.'' Excited about bring part of the film, Vidyut said, ''For me Bullett Raja was a double whammy as it is a Tigmanshu Dhulia film with action sequences.'' The film was presented by Fox Star Studios, Bullett Raja, and it starred Saif Ali Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Gulshan Grover, Chunky Pandey, Jimmy Shergill, Ravi Kishan and Raj Babbar among others.

B-town actor Vidyut Jamwal is all set to flaunt his action skills yet again in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Bullett Raja. Speaking about the same, Jamwal said Dhulia is such a fine filmmaker that it is not right to question the filmmaker’s decision or doubt his instructions."It's not a big role in Bullett Raja, but the action I do in the film is completely different," said Vidyut, who debuted with Force, and was next seen in Commando. Vidyut is a nationa-level gymnast, and is an expert in     , which is a form of martial arts from Kerala."Whatever he said, I did it in the film because you can't question a filmmaker like Tigmanshu, he is one of the greatest filmmakers in our country," he said of Dhulia. Bullett Raja stars Saif Ali Khan in lead role, and the promos of the films are out.Happy with the response the promos are getting, Vidyut said, "It's amazing and very overwhelming when you get positive response from the audience. As I said, it's not a big role, but the bits and pieces that the audience has seen in the promos, they have liked it so far."Bullett Raja is set for release on November 29!

Actor Jimmy Shergil and director Tigmanshu Dhulia’s collaboration has been running ever since the latter debuted in Bollywood with Haasil. Be it Charas, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns or latest release Bullett Raja, Jimmy is one common thing in all the mentioned films.Released on November 28, Bullett Raja features Saif Ali Khan in the title role with his lady of affection being Sonakshi Sinha. Jimmy plays Saif’s partner in crime and has covered prominent part in the film. While Saif plays a character with an adventurous streak, Jimmy plays a much more headstrong guy.“The three of us have a lot of sequences together though, as you can see from the promos. The film's script is such that it brings us together. It would definitely have been a different space for Sonakshi to be working with Tigmanshu. However I could sense that Sonakshi was comfortable in what she was doing. As for Saif then well, he adapted to things so well from day one. He was bang on as the character. According to me, it is one of his finest performances. No one has ever seen Saif on these lines,” averred Jimmy.About the director, he added, “Tigmanshu was clear from the very beginning during the narration stage itself that bond between Saif and I had to be very prominent right through the film's narrative. The ethereal Sonakshi Sinha is all set to impress the audience with her charm with upcoming release of hers, Bullett Raja, where she will be seen opposite Saif Ali Khan. The romantic number from the film, Saamne Hai Savera was released recently, and it was shot against the backdrop of the old-world charm of Kolkata. It features Victorian era heritage structures, hand-pulled rickshaws and signature trams. Experiencing it all really made Sonakshi happy and excited as she got to ride a tram there for the first time in her life. Calling it an overwhelming experience, Sonakshi says, "This tram was like 100 years, almost like a time machine. It had a very romantic feel to it and made you just want to stop and look around. It was a very 'dreamy' tram indeed, but unfortunately I'd no one to share it with."The film is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, who is also co-producing it with Nitin Tej Ahuja and Rahul Mitra. It talks about the mafia based in Uttar Pradesh, and besides Saif and Sonakshi, it features Jimmy Sheirgill, Vidyut Jammwal, Gulshan Grover, Raj Babbar and Chunky Pandey. Tigmanshu Dhulia brings Saif Ali Khan back with bang, as he stars in the former’s upcoming film Bullett Raja. Speaking on the association, Dhulia says, "I worked with Soha Ali Khan on Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns and I'm sure she spoke to her brother about this script. Saif, in turn, expressed a desire to work together. To have an actor with a vernacular image playing this role would have been boring.'' "I needed someone like Saif, who is charming and sophisticated, because it's more of a challenge to get him to play something the audience will not normally associate him with. My hero is not dark and intense. He is endearing and impulsive. In fact, Saif never starts a fight in the film, but he ensures he always finishes it.'' In the film, Saif is teamed up with Sonakshi Sinha. Tigmanshu says, "After years, I saw a screen couple that has the Amitabh-Rekha magic. Saif and Sona are in sharp contrast with each other and therein lies the interest factor. It would be a completely family affair when Shatrughan Sinha’s production house Shotgun Films’ upcoming film to launch his twin sons Luv and Kush Sinha as main lead role. The production house has also signed director Umesh Shukla for its second film that will feature Sonakshi Sinha as its protagonist. The belle, who has already proved her acting powers, is excited about the re-launch of Shotgun Films. “Everybody has their own production house today. Since we have in-house actors, director and producer, it’s all sorted. Dad later went into politics. As kids we knew he was in show business but didn't look beyond that. So it's great that today we three are reviving the banner. Dad's thrilled and proud of us,” Sonakshi beamed.Does it mean the audience will get to see father-daughter sharing screen space in the coming production ventures? Sonakshi says, “I would love to. But we have to find something that suits his booming personality, he can't do a film for the heck of it.”Shatrughan Singh, who is currently active in political services, was last seen in Hindi film Rakta Charitra, released on 2010. He has been out from film making and acting since. But his presence is quite visible in television serials. He is currently hosting Bhojpuri version of the popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati on Mahuaa channel.While, other side Sonakshi, she is flooded with multiple projects. Her next films set for the release are Tigmanshu Dhulia's Bullett Raja, releasing on December 6 and Prabhu Deva’s R…Rajkumar, coming in theatres on November 29.

I am happy with my dance number in Zanjeer and I am looking forward for my next in Saif Ali Khan's Bullett Raja," said the actress during her visit to her hometown Chandigarh.She did quality work in Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster series, and masala roles doesn’t interest her to much extent. "I am very choosy about my scripts. After doing bold roles, I can't settle for anything less," she said adding that her decision is guided by scripts."I don't make a conscious choice to choose unconventional roles. If I like the script, I go for it. For me, the script has to be interesting. Even if I have two to three scenes in a film, I don't mind doing it if they are worth it," the 37-year-old said.Way to go!
